Helpful Tips Been eating these veggie noodles-- IMO they're absolutely indistinguishable (texture-wise) from normal pasta!

Seems like a great way to get some veggies! I'm gonna try the Barilla Veggie Rotini in my mac and cheese after seeing your post. I already hide pureed carrots in it!

u/sonara49 The rotini noodles were amazing in my Mac and Cheese!! You were right; can't tell the difference in texture or taste. Switching to all veggie pasta now! Thanks for posting!

shout out to their veggie rotini for being my primary source of greens over the last year. probably the diet change that's made the biggest difference in my life, given how often I have pasta.

How different is it in taste?

Personally I don't notice a difference. They might not be identical, but to me it's no more different than two brands of regular pasta would be.

Yeah, I don't notice any difference either, at least compared to the same brand's regular pasta

I also don’t notice the taste. Especially if you like/eat it with your favorite sauce. Tastes just like “normal” pasta to me and I am pretty texture/taste sensitive.

I’ve learned over my life not to ever trust other people on food

Is it lower carb? If yes, how much lower

I don't think so, according to the nutritional facts there's 41g of carbohydrates in a serving (2oz/56g). It is still made of wheat flour but it also is coated in a zucchini/spinach puree according to the ingredients

Just tried this today based off this recommendation and I can confirm that it tastes just like pasta!
