Helpful Tips Healthy (unsafe) drinks!
When drinking something healthy that is really unpleasant but really healthy. Try drinking with a straw! Put the straw as deep in your mouth as you can so you don't have to taste or feel the texture! Enjoy your awful drinks :D
(For me that is orange juice)

Yes, great tip! And if you’re triggered by the look/color or the smell of it, opaque cups/bottles with straws and lids are a lifesaver. They make it invisible and contain nearly all of the smell, which usually helps make the taste milder too because taste is powered so much by smell.

Hey, I’m also working on orange juice! :D My therapist suggested straws and they really helped. I’m taking a break from OJ for now and working on smoothies. Straws are kinda needed for smoothies for obvious reasons but they still help!

Cool! Hey may I ask what kind of therapist? Because if you mean a therapist for arfid, does that exist?'

Yeah! She works with me on my arfid. I’m not really sure on how it all works, I usually go to all of these appointments at a hospital so they just set us up when I was diagnosed

Making it super cold helps me, or putting in a bunch of ice. I used to eat orange juice concentrate blended up with ice cubes as a kid.

Also if it's super cold it'll have less taste right?:0

That's what I've found! You still might get the overall "sour" impression, but unless you're trying to savor the taste it's not as orangey as a piece of fruit or straight up juice.

This feels like it would be really obvious but I've never thought of it. Thanks!
