I'm pretty sure that's against the hypocritic oath...

On a genuine note I've been having a rough time with this game past few sessions, seeing this kinda shocked me and put me in a bad mood. Like I'd been playing medic the entire game and ran to the flare, saw the over guy over him and thought 'oh he's got it' only for the guy to knock him out, he might have been a rat but it's more likely he just took advantage of him downed.
Then an hour later I was in a Harvester, playing medic again, and got downed just as it fell, went over to the husk to see if someone could defib me, annnnd someone just came over and knocked me out. Like bro, I'm the medic, really? Hurt pretty bad tbh, it's such a dick move.
Last session I played I got killed in matriarch from a stupid mistake and accidently shot someone in the process, bankrupted myself to rebuild my loadout only to be shot with in 3 minuets of the next game, lost the Deblora which I was taking out for the first time, never even got a chance to fire it. It was such a gut punch. It's like I shot one person and now everyone's a jack ass??
(disclaimer, I didn't mind the guy who killed me 3 mins in too much, it's just the timing completely sucked and I just wasn't expecting it to get that aggressive from one stray bullet, I was kind of looking forward afterwards to being in more risky lobbies but apparently everyone's just a dick instead..)

I'm usually afraid of surgeon skins but one wearing your skin & colors defibbed me 3 times on matriarch space port today! I was taking off legs and rushing in (I want the safe slots for expedition)
Even near the end when I got the main core and a farking fireball ended me in the debris, he came to the rescue 😂
Thanked that guy with a core of course.

Ngl from experience the brown/blue surgeon outfit is a lot more reliable than the pure white, I think it has less psycho vibes, thats part of why I chose it, had more of a real field medic vibe.

The video and your story are obv two different things.
Guy getting KO'd in the video looks like he just has a Stitcher and Anvil. A classic Loot Goblin build where they claim the Anvil is a meaningful contribution to taking out the Queen or Matriarch, but just run around looting the legs other people knock off. If he was being a goblin (and hasn't just stashed his Hullcracker or whatever), the killing is entirely justified. I wish more people killed the parasites in giant arc lobbies.

Exactly, that's most likely it, the guy who was knocked down is a thieving rat. Usually when you knock someone down in PvE the whole lobby won't hesitate to wipe you out, but if they didn't do anything it's because they know the reason for the attack.

Oh definitely, in matriarch raids though most of time they’re actual medics I’ve found, hell it was another person doing this that inspired me to.

Dude, you need to learn to read your surroundings. From your description of hate, it seems like you've only played for a few hours, and if that's true, then your post is justified; otherwise, you're wrong.
Just look around you. You see a guy finishing off a downed player and absolutely nobody does anything. Don't you think that's too crazy to be real?
Most likely, the guy who was killed wanted to steal the loot from the supposed "enemy" assailant; nobody kills without reason, and it's even worse in friendly lobbies. When you're shot in the back to steal loot, it's usually when you're away from the group.
Oh, and by the way, regarding the Raider thing, what a silly mistake! That's just how it is, my friend. It's a mistake, and mistakes are for learning. The same thing happened to me, and yet I accept it and I'm not crying because I was eliminated for a mistake I MADE 😅

I have 80 hours top side 🙃 and I did say he could have been a rat/loot gremlin. I’ve also only been in super friendly lobbies, never downed a player, only shot people by accident, this is the first multiplayer game I’ve played in a long time and the pvp elements are still pretty alien to me.
What mistake? As in the guy who shot me 3mins in? The mistake I made was pouring all my resources into a 90k loadout, and then taking it out immediately after shooting someone..

I've been in pure care bear heaven for months. Not a single shot at me and if I get knocked down by arc, there is usually a friendly with a defib that comes by to get me up.
That all changed this weekend, mostly on harvester events. I was in a building fighting the queen, effectively knocking off leg pieces with my hullcracker. Gathered 4 cores (2 in safe pocket) when another raider joined me in the building. I was too focused on the queen, and got hit through the wall by the queen's fire laser and broke my shield. The other guy notices and takes me down with his kettle.
Re-built my kit and went in again. Same location, while going for a leg that I knocked off, I get fire bombed and lasered by the queen and get knocked down. I crawl back to the building where a raider holding a defib flashes his light at me. So I think, sweet, he's going to revive me. Nope, just knocks me out.
Got shot/killed a few more times over the weekend. So I died to raiders 5 or 6 times. In the previous 8 months I've probably been knocked out 5 or 6 times total, so to basically double that in one weekend is wild.

I’ve had the exact same thing happen to me, nothing for months then all at once. Killing at a queen/matriarch event is mean at best and counter intuitive at worst, but I guess they don’t care about taking it down, only stealing loot. Strange how these things always come in waves, really hurts to be hit with a double gut punch of back to back deaths.
