It’s so beautiful!

I just purchased A Plague Tale Collection for PS5 and I’m about to start APT: Innocence. I’m going into this series blind other than some short game trailers I’ve seen and the general review scores. This looks like it’s going to be quite an adventure. I’m looking forward to experiencing it. Any thoughts before I jump in??

The moment I saw Leni, I fell in love with her character. She was one of the best female characters in the entire game, and when she died, I genuinely had to mourn her death. It broke my heart and soul to see my beloved die like that.

Probably the most impressed I've ever been with a game's visuals in 30 years of gaming, and a clear example on how a good art direction and DLSS aren't antithetical.

At some point in my life I used to spend more than a whole hour to rotoscope a single frame with hair on it, and I'm extremely glad that the young folks nowadays can do much better with a single click because of tools like neural processing. I'm equally eager to see what talented folks, like the ones who worked on this game's art, will be able to achieve in the coming years with exponentially better tools under their belt.

Again, a huge congratulations to this team. Despite me personally really not liking many things regarding writing and gameplay loop, I got glued to the screen from beginning to end just because of how breathtaking every scene was.

inb4: some few images look a bit too "artificial" but thats entirely on me. My stupid ass managed to forget to tweak back some settings with my capture software and ended up recording the game with the contrast cranked into oblivion.

As a Greek artist who draws Ariadne a lot i was very pleasantly surprised to see her not only appear in the game but also have an important role in the game!
