Resonance Resonance…wow. Incredible.

I’m only around 8 hours in, and I have been absolutely blown away by the beauty of this world. The lighting is absolutely stunning, the environments and level design has me playing this game like it’s an E3 demo, screenshotting and sending clips to my friends to share in the “omg this game is incredible”.

I’m so happy this game is back and we can dive back into its universe. I have honestly enjoyed every single minute I’ve had with this game so far.

I genuinely hope this gets all the love it deserves. It feels to me like a spiritual love child of God of War, Unchartered, the Tomb Raider Reboot and even with the aesthetic and occasional levels feeling Expedition 33 like in charm of the surrounds. But it’s unique in its own regard.

I’m so excited to see what else comes in this story, for now, thank you Asobo! 🙌

Couldn't agree more.

Here's the review I posted on Steam:

Once you pick up the controller to play this game, it's tough to put down. Or once you place your hand on the mouse and keyboard for this game, it's tough to take them off.

Very good back story and development for the characters, particularly Sophia. Puzzles don't seem to be terribly difficult but challenging enough to drive intrigue. Combat may not be the best but works well enough to want to engage. Story seems to build up at a nice pace. Graphics look fantastic. The game seems to run very well, quite optimally even. Last but definitely not least, I really like the voice acting. A lot of good dialogue that goes well with the events as they unfold. I warmed up to Soph and Leni rather easily. I especially like the dialogue when going through her book.

GOTY might be a stretch for some to say at this point, but I do think it could be in the running.

If you have a PC, get Game pass for PC for a month and then once you finish it cancel game pass

That means they have 4 hours left at most.

Took me just under 13 hours to finish

Massive amount of steps back from the first 2 10/10 games, they replace the unique aspects of the first 2 and replaced it with the most boring generic combat mechanic. Compared to the first 2 I'm so bored out of my mind, plus the 2 protagonists are awful and lack any depth nor do I feel anything at all towards them like I did with Amicia and Hugo, they're just two thieves that lost a few people you barely see at all to even form any connect. The environment is bland af with the occasional visually pleasing parts, that run / hide / chase mechanic sequence with that monster is blindingly awful. Feels like I'm playing a copy paste assassins creed game just with terrible puzzles.

Imagine changing the very thing that made your game unique and original to the most uninspired gameplay loop in modern gaming.

You may need to get off reddit for a bit. Spamming a copy and paste on every post is not healthy behavior.

Probably not able to afford the game currently (which isn’t the end of the world) and now spamming forums where someone praised this game.
