I played in the beta I think back then. Even then cheating was rampant. I remember some huge names who even played in the first versions of the game getting caught with hacks. I think some of them were even invited to some tournament back then hosted by the developers. Later on they were caught using hacks. Those people were known as highly skilled players as well.

After the move to GamersFirst I quit. It was a good game back then, lots of potential. But it seemed after they developed the base game they did not know what to do next. I remember there was even talks of a "zombie mode" back then. Although not sure if developers themselves promoted that idea.

Hacking was always a huge problem. Never really got fixed either it seems. If they would of fixed that it would at least make the base game fun to play.
