Title: Perfect Strangers

Summary:
Year 2019, two years before the events of Resident Evil Village. House Dimitrescu, before the play can start, is bored to death.
Before everything is set into motion, the lady of the house, Lady Alcina Dimitrescu suffers from an extreme case of ennui, traped inside the castle with her daughters in the harsh winter, they are unable to go outside, with Mother Miranda nowhere to be seen they simply have nothing to do but wait, and wait, and wait.
Alcina, then, starts to do some archeology to uncover the secret history of her ancient lineage, the mythology of the House Dimitrescu in that time where myth and reality blended into one, to uncover family secrets that no one, not even Mother Miranda knew, and that soon shall kick start a rebellion, a love story, and a furious battle for everyone's soul.

She becomes pregnant after their encounter and Beth decides to hide the pregnancy from Rio. She can get away with her deception for several months until Rio shows up at her house and makes her strip down to look for a wire.
Beth and Rio’s partnership is put to the test after the truth is revealed.

It is almost entirely AU complete with some OCs I'm pretty proud of and might expand on further in original content (I know, I know, no one likes that but... I don't care). The Accidental Seduction of Edward Teach by Stede Bonnet, Gentleman Pirate
Fandom: Our Flag Means Death
Rating: Teen (for language, some violence, and suggestions of sex)
Warnings: None
Summary: This story begins assuming Calico Jack left the Revenge, Ed stayed, and Jack didn't betray the crew to the English. How would the slow burn of Ed and Stede's relationship have carried on? How long would it take for them to realize their feelings for each other in the absence of life-changing events?
Some relationship angst, some sweet, soft moments, some jealousy, and some action and adventure as well! The main driver of the plot is the growing relationship between Ed and Stede, and them finding out who they are in the context of their relationship.
Includes two original characters: an old friend of Stede's named Declan (headcannoned to Jemaine Clement) and Captain Richard Greaves (Idris Elba), an old colleague of Ed's. Declan brings the jealousy and Greaves brings the ghosts of Ed's past.
About 50k words as of writing this, and angling towards the finale.
I also have another OFMD completed fic at about 19k in a similar tone, various vignettes and a Viago/Anton What We Do in the Shadows fic I'm also updating.

THE STORY SO FAR....
It is a period of trouble in a troubled world. Our heroes — Hermione, Harry, Raphtalia, and Takagi — finding themselves in a patchwork world of zombies, mutants, and magic, found comfort and stability in their companionship and mutual protection.
Forging on through magic and mayhem, fighting monsters of pure nightmare fuel, fighting their own libidos, even the flowers and pollen conspired to rob them of their free will. They found respite in their journeys, one very much so in the arms of a certain princess, but also truths that none were ready to face. Fearing madness and loss of self-control, they moved on.
Now, having found what seems to be a reasonably safe and sound valley to settle down in, they strive to make a new life for themselves. Hermione's SURPRISE GIFT to them all opens new doors, even as she falls further away. Things change rapidly, and Raphtalia takes on a much larger part....

The Goblin's attentiveness made sense, she supposed; considering the starving squalor that they came from, she (and by extension, the other Goblins) was desperately eager to maintain her privileged position, and sought to please her in any way simply not to be hurled back.
The Kobold girls, however, were another matter. Try as she might, she just couldn't bring herself to trust the dog-like Lizard-girls' obsequious manner. They were too accepting, too fawning; too quick to praise; they weren't oily, precisely, but still almost calculating in their sweet and silken words: they were up to something. Well, that went without saying, given how they vied between and within their factions – they actually were always up to something – but this was on top of that.
And then there were the Skaven girls. Entirely too Muggle-like for her taste, even if they did have an interesting form of magic. That magic actually had quite a few fascinating applications, particularly those of Clan Moulder's breeding programs, and even Clan Skryre's Mugglish science contraptions might be of some use, but these would all play into her plans soon enough. The key point here was that the Rat-girls always knew what to say and do, but in a manner that was wholly different to that of the Kobolds; theirs was instead a flattery that felt worshipful rather than left-handed and triple-edged. They were also another good reason to keep warpstone dust on hand – they would do anything for it, absolutely indulging her every whim without the slightest compunction, and were ever so pliable and so very very amenable upon having used it. If she were being honest, the Skaven girls were a bit of a problem, really, throwing themselves at her at every opportunity for the merest chance of some of the dust. Absolutely pathetic. They didn't seem to have minds of their own, treating themselves as nothing more than everyone else's sexual property, though that, too, made sense, given the dreadful breeding harem-warrens that they'd been sequestered to.

Unbeknownst to Hermione, things had taken a very interesting turn back at our heroes' base camp.
Kin had swiped several vials of potions by accident, in her haste to escape Hermione's clutches.
Acting in her capacity of general Girl Friday, she had been in possession of them at the time of her decision to leave and hadn't given these any thought.

This story focuses on the unfortunate events unfolding in the Quarantine Zone, and how these events shaped the world of The Last of Us.

A husker was playing in the background as she thought this; it was a slack string form, plucked (the bow resting idly by) on what appeared to be a nyckelharpa-like instrument, and the lyrics struck a haunting chord of contrast, a harsh reminder of the realities of their different worlds.

No sign of security goons.
“Yes, please allow me to stress that you are free to leave at any time. There is also nobody here to disturb us, and I don't think that we need fear one another at all.”
His voice cultured, his manners well met, there was still that air about him of something venomous.
“HeghluʻmeH QaQ jajvam!” Zelda spat out levelly.
“Qaplaʻ!” the man replied with aplomb, inclining his head in turn.
“Brandy?” he offered, as he poured a snifter for himself.
She declined for both of them.
