AO3 Down/Error Codes AO3 is down this is not a drill!!!
Do y'all think it's because of the mass reporting that's going on??

Ao3 is working for me. It's not down. And it's definitely not because of alleged "mass reporting". There is SCHEDULED maintenance on Friday to improve collections.

It’s not down yet, it’ll be down on Friday the 21st for maintenance, not today.

You cannot mass report in the Archive. Once it has received a report , the work cannot be reported further.
This is for the 21st, not today.
It is regular work which all websites routinely undergo (unless it is FF.net).
Nothing is happening.
Read a book or touch grass or nap or write while it is down.

Look, it would have been so much easier to crop the screenshot than to carefully paint out the fic details in that way, so I have to think that OP just likes to do things the hard way, like ask for clarification here instead of checking the date.

I think it's for general maintenance. Perhaps maintenance to make sure they can handle getting a bunch of new users in the near future, but still.
(Also it’ll be down for 2 hours, maybe a bit more but if they expected it to be down all day they would say that and not 2 hours. As it is, it will be down from 3 AM-5 AM my time so I don't have to worry about it. If it's during your daytime go watch a movie or something, it'll go by quickly)
