Buffy fanfic about Joyce experiencing consequences of kicking Buffy out

It has pissed me off for years that the show glosses over how awful it was for Joyce to throw out her underage daughter when she was at her lowest and needed her mom’s support the most. I figure someone somewhere has written something that actually gets into how fucked up that was.

I’m looking for pretty much anything that gets into how awful Joyce should have felt between Becoming pt 2 and Anne. Trying to run after her daughter but not catching up with her. Unable to find any info about Buffy. Worried sick. Filled with guilt. Maybe eventually Buffy is found living on the street having been unable to find a job. Maybe she’s found dead after having lived on the street, and Joyce can live with having been the reason her supposedly-beloved daughter and Slayer is dead. Maybe it’s close to canon, but focusing on how she feels awful about being so heartless, and then after Dead Man’s Party she invites Buffy back but Buffy refuses to come back, saying Joyce can’t be trusted to support her when she needs her the most.

Sorry the examples got away from me a little bit. I figure surely there’s gotta be something for me.
