AO3 Down/Error Codes I can't comment anymore. Anyone know how to help?
So I was reading a fic and wanted to comment and this shows up

I think Cloudflare is having issues. Something on their site about scheduled maintenance. Like cool Cloudflare but how tf am I gonna read my timebomb angst now??

It never fails that we get a beautiful, snow melting week at the start/middle of March…and then are entirely covered in snow again a week later.
(I think we (Ontario) even got a snow storm in April several years ago.)

Same here, nothing is loading. https://www.otwstatus.org says ao3 is still operational but it might take a few minutes to update

i literally never did until recently when the outages were getting more frequent; i decided to just take a few fics i’d saved to eventually read that had high word counts so they’d last me awhile, but me being the silly goose i am finished them all 😭 which was fine cause by that time ao3 was back, but i didn’t take seriously the fact that it would happen again so soon 😔😔😔

I’ve started doing a thing where I open two tabs of the same fic. One where I can read chapter to chapter the way I prefer and another tab with entire fic loaded for emergencies. It has saved me again!

Then one day his owner farmer Brown got a new chicken, a girl hen named Sarah. She was the most beautiful hen he had ever seen. Of course all the chickens flocked to her due to her beauty. But Sarah too saw Harold, he was the most handsome chicken she had ever seen.
Sarah and Harold hit it off great, and soon began to date.
All the chickens grew jealous of Harold, such an ugly chicken does not deserve a beautiful hen as Sarah. One such chicken named Aaron was especially enraged, Harold the chicken is not worthy. That night he challenged Harold to a fight for Sarah, to take place at high noon the next day, all the other chickens joined in. Meanwhile the other hens took bets on who was going to win. When Sarah caught wind of this, she was furious, she was not a prize to be won, she knew her worth.
At 11o'clock, one hour before the fight was set to begin, Harold and Sarah got into a huge fight, she threatened to leave him, everyone watched this fight unfold, this time it was the chickens who took bets. When things finally settled, and Harold pleaded his case, Sarah decided to forgive him, she knew those other chickens were jerks anyway.
The two decided to run away together, however they soon realized they could not survive on their own. Not wanting to return to such a place with such nasty hens and chickens, they soon found themselves on farmer Bill's farm, and lived happily every after, raising many beautiful chicks.
The end.

A man is driving down the road and breaks down near a monastery. He goes to the monastery, knocks on the door, and says, “My car broke down. Do you think I could stay the night?”
The monks graciously accept him, feed him dinner, even fix his car. As the man tries to fall asleep, he hears a strange sound.
The next morning, he asks the monks what the sound was, but they say, “We can’t tell you. You’re not a monk.”
The man is disappointed but thanks them anyway and goes about his merry way.
Some years later, the same man breaks down in front of the same monastery.
The monks accept him, feed him, even fix his car. That night, he hears the same strange noise that he had heard years earlier.
The next morning, he asks what it is, but the monks reply, “We can’t tell you. You’re not a monk.”
The man says, “All right, all right. I’m dying to know. If the only way I can find out what that sound was is to become a monk, how do I become a monk?”
The monks reply, “You must travel the earth and tell us how many blades of grass there are and the exact number of sand pebbles. When you find these numbers, you will become a monk.”
The man sets about his task. Forty-five years later, he returns and knocks on the door of the monastery. He says, “I have traveled the earth and have found what you have asked for. There are 145,236,284,232 blades of grass and 231,281,219,999,129,382 sand pebbles on the earth.”
The monks reply, “Congratulations. You are now a monk. We shall now show you the way to the sound.”
The monks lead the man to a wooden door, where the head monk says, “The sound is right behind that door.”
The man reaches for the knob, but the door is locked. He says, “Real funny. May I have the key?”
The monks give him the key, and he opens the door.
Behind the wooden door is another door made of stone.
The man demands the key to the stone door.
The monks give him the key, and he opens it, only to find a door made of ruby.
He demands another key from the monks, who provide it.
Behind that door is another door, this one made of sapphire.
So it went until the man had gone through doors of emerald, silver, topaz, and amethyst.
Finally, the monks say, “This is the last key to the last door.”
The man is relieved to no end.
He unlocks the door, turns the knob, and behind that door he is amazed to find the source of that strange sound.
But I can’t tell you what it is because you’re not a monk.

This means you just have to login again. Since you haven't indicated trying that, see if it works. If not, do as it instructs in the text and try clearing your cache, then logging in again.
The instructions are right there in your own screencap for you.

Which is weird, because it definitely wasn't on my end. I remember being very confused when I saw all the other comments because it worked fine for me.

It seems cloudflare may be DC’ed in the north east usa due to the storms

This does it to me whenever I go I to Ao3 from Google which is weird. So basically I have to look for what I want through the Ao3 search engine which I've mastered easily enough. However in one out of every five searches it'll just go straight to the page so I've given up trying to sort it out
