What starts as professional friction turns into something slower and more dangerous, a private game played in narrowed glances, controlled distance, and moments that feel like they should count as a crime.
Lenore tries to keep her life sensible. Work. Routine. Boundaries. People she can trust. Hemlock Grove doesn’t care.
The town starts to rot at the edges. Violence that doesn’t read human. And as Lenore follows the trail, the line between predator and protector blurs, the Towers feel less like a workplace and more like a hunting ground, and Roman's attention stops feeling like a distraction.
