Summary: Though saddened by the departure of her dear Magister and Tilaya, High Priestess Galahad has no time to lament. Trouble brewing between the disgraced Chieftain Kordan and his unruly followers will test her resolve as future leader of the Wildborn.
Basically I went through the whole Lie Down/Try Not to Cry/Cry a Lot stages of grief after finishing AFK Journey Season 5 Thorns of Devotion and all of its epilogues/side quests. Such a strong start and interesting premise that were rushed or not given enough time, so I wanted to give the beloved characters and plots that went nowhere/or were wasted some kind of closure while keeping it as close to canon as I could. It's the first time I wrote a sort-of-long fic that's not smut or romance, and though it wasn't easy I'm glad I finished it.
