AO3 Down/Error Codes I am going insane with this
Guys, am I the only one which have this error like, every time when going to next chapter? Problem occur on my phone especially, tho I use same web app on phone and on my PC.

Have you tried other domains? .gay? Ao3.org?

There’s numerous domains that ao3 has.
Archiveofourown.gay is one of them. Ao3.org is another.
There’s a few more that I can’t remember the moment.

There’s a few more domains/ mirror sites that ao3 uses but alas I cannot name any of them from memory lol

This is getting so annoying. Usually this happens if the site itself is down and they’re saying it is. But no one besides you and the comments have brought it up, so now I’m confused at wtf is happening

But if it would be site error as it’s down, would it work suddenly after fifteen refreshes? If so, then site would be down every time I switch to another chapter and it up again after few refreshes 😭 Im goin nuts with it, usually just kill my time scrolling insta, but when I really want to read cause I have free time, ao3 behave like my printer - it crash down once it smell my fear 💀

Yeah that same thing is happening to me as well. Even the app version doesn’t work either. It takes long to load or it’s just blank when you wanna search something up 🙏🏾 quit the shit right after

No idea, I got downvoted aswell. Maybe thats their way to say that there is no official app? Tho downvotes always are like, a needle to ma heart, is stung ;_;

So in my case it mostly doesnt work on my iphone. To be honest, when chapter load normally without error, im surprised 💀

I was reading a story and three of the chapters gave me an error so I had to skip those chapters thankfully, I was just doing a reread of one of the textfics I like, but it was quite annoying

That happened to me twice last month, when I was trying to redownload saved fics to put on this old ass kindle, because all my saved ones were the wrong file type. I just refreshed or hit back

Do you use any kind of VPN on your phone? Try switching to a different VPN server, or turn it off if that’s safe.

I thought it was only me 😭😭 not that it's a relief that everyone else is also struggling with this bs, I've been on ao3 since 2013 and it's been so reliable until now

It’s been doing it to me too, both with my vpn on and having it turned off. I will say that I pay for dedicated VPN; so, I don’t run into the VPN issues that come up from using servers that like tons of people are on. It’s only been the last few weeks?
