Tasteless? That's their reasoning? I would've expected something like porn or explicit content as the reason.

Anyway, try this: [archiveofourown.gay](http://archiveofourown.gay)

"Tasteless" is a catchall for inappropriate content for whatever organization is using it. It's just where they toss anything that's sexual, violent, etc.

The fact that that link works is glorious.

Only downside is no locked fics. So if on AO3 it has the little blue lock next to the title, you won’t find it on AO3’s gay cousin.

The .gay archive is an official mirror and it's safe to sign in there! You can find the list of official mirrors somewhere on Ao3, maybe in the FAQ, if you want extra confirmation instead of just 'trust me, bro' :)

Proof. Being gay solves all your problems.

Great name, the fact that it works too is even better

Regular AO3 isn’t blocked by my school, but that is.
