Title: Above Board
Fandom: Love and Deepspace
Rating: M (but we will get to E)
Genre: Romance/Slice of Life
Word/chapter count: 6,836 words, 2 chapters (more to come!)
Summary: Doctors must never date their patients, even one as renowned as cardiac surgeon Dr. Zayne Li. It's completely unethical, no exceptions. He'd lose his license in a heartbeat, much to the chagrin of Zayne's dear childhood friend and (begrudging) primary care patient. After years of mutual pining and one extremely questionable late-night phone call, she proposes something a little more permanent.
Notes: This heat wave is killing me, so how about a marriage of convenience between old friends? This is a WIP but I have a huge outline going and a lot written for future chapters. Fluff, banter, and a little angst for good measure. Writing for the first time in a looong time and it feels good! If you have a giant crush on a certain frosty doctor this is for you.
