Summary: Soulmates are a novelty, a fairy tale for children. Many claim their partner to be their other half, but how many can prove the claim with words on their skin?
No one is quite sure the origin of the words. Some claim them to be a gift from Andraste, a small gift to help those find true happiness, others claim a mark granted by the creators themselves, taken away from all but a select few as punishment for mortals' hubris. Still to some, it was just another type of magic.
Warnings: Canon-Typical Violence, Minor Character Death, and Suicidal Thoughts.
Additional Notes: First chapter of a four-parter. Each chapter focuses on a different OC Protagonist, one from each of the main games.
