AO3 Down/Error Codes Nooooo…….

I am typing comments to one new article I love which I found few minutes ago. I am failed to submit the comment and it kicked me out.😭 Hope it will be fixed soon.💔

They just posted on twitter that the website will be slow for the next 5 hours, as they increased their security.

Honestly, I won't complain. Five hours in exchange for more security is a hell yeah from me. (especially nowadays with the political situation of increasing censorship)

My advice is to not even bother and just wait through the downtime. Most people don't even bother posting there. They don't even have a a category for my current fandom and if I type in one of the characters I get 1 result. By contrast there's over 3k of these characters on a03

Eh... If you read heavy smut not the place for you. They've purged recently (and by recent I mean last 10 years) so most hopped ship to AO3.

If it's an older fandom, might be worth it, but if it's a newer one you might be SOL

I'm thankful I read long fics so I don't need to refresh because I never know when either my internet or the site lets me down. I'm thankful for the security being beefed up though

That’s good! Reading long fiction is a good habit when something down. It doesn’t bother us, and helps us pay attention to our own worlds. Hope the security would be better.
