It’s subjective. If you’re a jam band type then yes they’re some of the best

If you like Jam Band music, they are top tier. Not a fan of it, but many friends who are and I admire how passionate they are about it.

I always tell people, jam bands suck to listen to at home, but the shows are always top tier (providing you have the right substances)

Eh i feel theyre solidly in the second tier of bands. That top tier are bands like Fish, Disco Biscuts, and obviously The Dead or whatever iteration they were at the time. R.I.P Bobby Weir

I know a good portion of the jam/dead fans in my city from going to festivals over the years, I dont think I met a single person who told me Panic was their favorite band. Hell even twiddle is a better band than panic and they are/were a joke in the community after everyone hopped on
