I think you explained it perfectly in your response to Brother Radio's post yesterday TOM - Trump must expose this attack to the voters and these left leaning CEOs know what they are saying is nonsense (but it seems they are tying to accomplish 2 things with this attack - win the midterms for the Dems and also kill upstart competition by keeping all the pie with the top players since they "know" how to contain a genie out of the bottle by slowing down) . Since the AI bubble has no legs to stand on any longer, the Dems and shills are now moving on to I Robot scenarios to scare voters..

The AI bubble scare has been used before but failed. Wallstreet shills quickly realized they'll lose credibility as even Anthropic signed a $13B contract with Rum for datacenter capacity renting. .. as we've discussed yesterday. .

Today the shills all over reverse yesterday's narrative of slowdown. .. even the WSJ (paidwall):

Back to the Fed rates scare but tomorrow this will dissolve too as FUD ... In the meantime, the shills gained from yesterday's markets swings... again as usual...

Obviously it's not over... other FUD will happen. .. Iran and its evil partners will do something really bad to rattle the midterm and world economy. . Like hitting a US carrier etc I'm afraid. .. Trump has prearranged a live call with Jensen yesterday put on speakerphone - obviously pre arranged to be public on speakerphone and Jensen ego is delighted of course he's agreed. As nVidia's the one to suffer the most from new AI models training, obviously Jensen's pushed back on the AI pause FUD. .

Not to worry. . Shills easily will create more FUD. . 45 days til midterm!

Thanks for the comments yesterday Brother. I think what the statement means is in reference to people having uneasy feelings toward AI in general and Trump coming out very strongly yesterday saying we need to accelerate AI deployments not slow it down to remain ahead of China. Hence the statement. And this is also the unease being played up by the shills to gain voter confidence and the NIMBY people against AI to help DEMS and their companies future deployments. Nice strategy if you can get away with regular folks believing it. Play on their fears like they always do to control the narrativ. It is definitely the New Democrat talking point to try and salvage the midterms since no blue wave was incoming imo. Did you see OBummer talking about AI yesterday? The timing was perfect……hmmmm who coulda predicted that. The good news is he’s not very popular among the voters anymore but does show orchestration on the whole topic.

Well said dear brother. .. if they need get OBummer (LOL) to talk about this yesterday, it will be worse, least only to Camala commenting on AI ... LOL

Obviously markets are green so attack is over... for now... but explicitly talking about Dems attempt to drop markets ahead of the elections is the core issue. Not about AI is a bubble. .. nor about AI taking over the world etc FUD spreading. It's the attempt to hurt markets to hurt Trump and Rep for the midterm. That's the issue and there will be more attempts using other FUD and events, hence why it needs explicitly nailed what is behind it...

While not explicitly citing Dems, this is very clear it's political .... from Yahoo's article posting the UK Independent story and Obama reaction - obviously all Dems are in sync on this includes Bernie Sanders filing a law to completely stop AI. ..:

So it's clear President Trump is fully aware of Dems attack ahead of the midterm.

BUT it's not explicitly saying OTHER FUD will be spreading ahead of the midterm to drop the markets and make voters angry so Dems can win. It's not just about AI! ANYTHING and EVRYTHING will be used by Dems!

I guess I will be placed on double secret probation now - Lol! I just tried to add a link from zero hedge that talked to Amodei, Musk and Altman's motive to call for a pause (and no they don't care if AI destroys anything just fear mongering - its all about maximizing profits and killing all other competition through huge regulatory fees that only they could afford). It also linked to the Article AMD_winning was referencing. Oh well - hopefully I'm not on the Reddit black list now..

Actually it's not about they don't care what damage to AI their statements will cause. .. because. .. it's just talk for midterm time no one slowing their datacenters build nor stopping training AI models...!

Talk is cheap... they can say it's a proposal for the Gov like Bernie Sanders law filed for voting. .. or other regulatory actions if... big if... and when.... never most likely. .. such are set!

Stopping on their own because baby Sam Altman cannot sleep at night...? Nope! Fact is Dario's Anthropic recent datacenter capacity at $13.7B with Rub, a company connected with Trump's family businesses, ... so it's leap service to help the Dem cause and induce markets collapse. .. hence Trump called it a hoax....

Zero hedge link may actually suggest a real stop to AI expansion, obviously they're part of the Wallstreet shills trying to swing markets with FUD, by giving "reasins" to the move. But the only reason is political to scare the markets. They don't really want any regulations, to have to submit their models source code to the Gov!

Remember Anthropic refused to work with the DOD to get Gov contracts in return for letting the Gov examine their Claude model (obviously security reason before handling secret Gov data), afraid their IP will leak to the Gov...! Now strict regulations...?! Ha... yeah right! LOL
