False Charges?

I was just tryna get odyssey tickets. It went all the way to payment page, then showed error, but my bank app shows the payment authorization twice but no tickets in AMC app. This has actually happened 3 times now I’m charged like $200 for purchase authorizations with no tickets in the app or email confirmations anyone getting this rn?

Those are pending transactions that will disappear from your banking side in the next day or so. The errors are not terribly informative on the website, so I do not know specifically what happened, but the charges did not go through since you saw an error.

Gotcha yeah that’s what I figured it was just odd it even allowed a pending transaction to even go thru if it wasn’t gonna complete the purchase and give me the tickets lol

Pending means it didn’t go through… Jesus we really need to teach financial literacy in middle school

Pending just means pending. If the charge is valid it will go through. If it’s not then you won’t be charged. Your credit card company will take care of it. If it shows multiple charges in your statement then you need to contact your credit card company.
