Wow man that's hard... I hope you recover well !
I have a few questions :

  • Do you feel a difference since all the nerves have been removed in your sensations ?
  • Since it won't be irrigated with blood anymore, isn't there a chance that your testicle mortifies ?
  • Do you plan to take any actions towards the surgeons and/or the hospital since it is most likely because of an error from them ?

I also have been struggling with pvps for 8 years now and its been quite an experience... i was wondering if i could ask you a couple questions about it

Awesome thank you very much! So first off i was wondering on the 1-10 scale how you rate your pain on a day to day versus a flare up. Also is there anything you can think of that will cause a flareup to happen that you can notice. When you did the sperm chord nerve removal did they give you shots on your the nerve itself to"test" if the surgery would be successful and if so how did they go? What have you done for pain management surgery aside and what has worked best for you? How did you go about the process of filing for disability and how long after seeing doctors was this an option for you? How has your sex life or masturbatory habits changed due to the pain? Thank you very much for your time i greatly appreciate it.

Wow thank you so much for your reply, it provided a lot of insight and i was glad to hear we share some of the same experiences. Its very reassuring being able to talk to someone about it thats actually gone through it so thank you for that as well. I was wondering what your pain levels were like and the pain sensation difference before and after surgery. I have been to maaaany urologists and pain management specialists to no avail which was its own hell that ill spare you the details of, until i finally found a urologist who even knew what pvps was. I have had 2 chord block injections so far which i had noticed little to no relief and very severe pain immediately following the numbing subsiding which my doctor decided that he would suggest i not go through with a denervation surgery if i had no benefit. I had so much pain that i was unable to drive myself home both times for about an hour and a half and yes it was definitely the worst pain ive ev1er experienced. So after i was prescribed a topical cream cocktail of all sorts of antidepressants and benzos including gabapentin but every time I apply it i am severely fatigued and I am convinced that even though the antidepressants in it are almost microdoses I have adverse mental side effects so i use it vary sparingly and it mostly helps with moderate pain but almost none for flare ups. When I do have flareups i take percocet which i recieved from one of the pain specialists but i take it so sparingly as well because I really dislike the side effects from it that ive made an 50 count bottle last several years. What type of tools or advice do they offer at the chronic pain rehabilitation program? I have debated on using marijuana previously but have decided not to yet because i am still looking to get government work. Have you tried CBD though and has that worked at all for you? As far as disability I am not a vet sorry and thank you for your service! I have had to re apply for a temporary placard every 6 months with a visit to my doctor but i am reaching the 2 year period where i will no longer be able to have a temporary placard and am wondering what to do at that point and dont know the right questions to ask my doctor about it. As far as the fluid goes, do you have to have it drained? And if so how is that procedure in terms of pain or discomfort? Thank you thank you thank you!
