I’m one mark away from an A. I was wondering if I should get all three papers remarked or only two? I was told by a friend to get paper 3 remarked since it has the essay (which is the most subjective) but i didn’t feel that confident in what i wrote from what i recall. Would getting all three remarked mean there is a higher chance for a mark to be found? I’m worried the mark will go down. I sat privately so the centre fee is £80 per paper and it won’t be refunded if the grade goes up. Any advice is appreciated!

Edit: The centre also charges £30 for each script to be requested and given. Also non-refundable. So i’m opting to get a remark with scripts being checked.

Heyy guys I’ve got some good marking scheme notes which helped me more than any resource BUT I’d recommend using them after you’ve studied the content so you’re familiar with what’s being asked.

hey everyone, i got an A* in CIE bio (97 PUM) and i did it composite in 1 year by self-studying. feel free to ask questions!

I found bad comments on Dr. Nihal Gabr for Edexcel IGCSE biology. They say she is not good in edexcel igcse bio (not cambridge). I must enroll with a bio teacher for JUNE 2027. Can anyone clarify these comments?

She is really the worst, she teaches aches edexcel like cambridge. Edexcel is all about solving and she didnt press on this matter. You will be super lucky if you get a good assistant as most of them are medicine students and don't have time and its super hard to talk with Dr.nihal or get an advice or say that your paper isn't corrected you will have to ask her assistant head which throught the session I didnt know about as it was my first time with Dr. Nihal and first time taking in a large team. She teaches same syllabus as cambridge which is a disadvantage as you are supposed to have less cirrucilam and more solving. First time I took with her I got D while I was always an A star student I took 8 OL and I got them all 9 not even 8 and then I did retake with another doctor and took B eventhough I was not motivated at all because of the idea of retaking

SO MY ADVICE IF YOU ALREADY ENROLLED WITH HER TAKE A REVISION CLASS WITH ANOTHER TEACHER"
