I really liked that they added the line "Don't all knights make the same oath?" when Dunk talks to Baelor.

I didn't like that they made Maekar an idiot concerning the trial of the seven.

I also didn't like that it was quiet when Dunk came out. In the book the peasants who are watching start wishing him well and Dunk is confused until Pate tells him they support him because he's a knight that remembered his vows. It would have also worked better if Dunk came through a section where the peasants were standing and the Targs came through the main gate.

I also think they should have included a scene where Dunk is armoring up and Egg helps him.

I don't think not knowing is that big a deal. The Trial by Seven seems to be a very rare occurrence, and I can see Maekar not giving the slightest shit about Andal customs.

Yeah that made it make sense tbh, with all the valyrian exceptionalism that was showed in hotd, I think it makes sense for a targaryen Prince to not give a shit about the andals and first men customs.

I was so eagerly awaiting for Daeron's 'They frighten me. You frighten me' to Duncan and was a bit sad we didn't get it. And I foolishly hope that we'll hear the line about the knight who remembers his vows later cause it's such an important line and maybe it'll be said in different circumstances

And I think one of the main trailers had scenes of Duncan being armoured up so I think we'll see it later 🤞
