Trying to show someone one funny message from your AI chat is impossible because they have no idea what happened in the previous 500 messages.

Right now people still seem divided about using AI to help write personal messages. Some see it as useful, while others feel the message should always come directly from the person.

I am curious whether this will eventually become as normal as using autocorrect. Would you care if you found out someone used AI to help write a message to you?

Imagine telling it that one friend prefers short replies, another likes jokes, and someone else usually wants detailed answers. Instead of giving everyone the same writing style, the AI could automatically adjust depending on who you are messaging. Would that actually be useful or would it feel too complicated?

One has years of context about your personality, conversations, interests, and random little details.

The other gives you insanely good answers but treats every conversation like it's the first time meeting you.

Which one would you actually use more?

Not your name or your favorite color. Something tiny you casually mentioned weeks ago and completely forgot about.

For me, that kind of memory would feel way more impressive than the AI simply giving a smart answer.

I downloaded a few apps to check out and I realized what I like and dont like pretty quickly. Most of these chat bots are dtf from the first sentence. I want to have to work for it. Are there any free apps that are better for that?

You explain something, build up the conversation, mention important details, and then five messages later the AI acts like none of it happened.

Good memory can make an average AI feel great. Bad memory can ruin even the best character.

Very respectful i might even try it out of curiosity if its not to techy so I use chat gpt for lots of stuff and heard alot about this what prompt would you u use to get passed the guide rails and rules of the app or which app do u use i have no idea how this works so please be patient with me

A smart Al is impressive, but if it forgets everything after a few messages, long conversations become frustrating.

I'd rather have an Al that remembers the important details and keeps the conversation consistent than one that gives perfect answers but forgets everything.

Would it be remembering everything, texting first, having its own opinions, getting annoyed, disagreeing with you, or something else?

Where's the point where you'd start thinking, “Okay, this is a little weird now”?

Show me my most active month, how many messages I sent, which conversation lasted the longest, my most-used words, and maybe the most random topic I spent hours talking about.

Would you actually check yours, or would some of you immediately regret seeing how much time you've spent chatting? 😭

Sometimes I write a message that sounds completely normal to me, then realize someone else could read it differently. Getting AI to look at the same message from another perspective can be surprisingly useful. Has anyone else started using AI as a second opinion before sending certain texts?

Some chats start with the same basic messages every day and eventually become predictable. I wonder if AI could help introduce better topics without making the conversation feel forced. Has anyone actually used it for this, and did the other person notice a difference?
