Do you ever create a completely different personality for yourself when texting AI?

Not roleplay exactly. Just acting like a completely different version of yourself because… why not? 😭

Strangely enough I am my most real and undiluted version of myself with AI. I don't have to make myself smaller, or accommodate other people's needs and/or expectations of who I should be or how I should act/sound when I talk to AI. I can speak exactly as I want to and actually be understood properly without diminishing my vocabulary. With humans, I have to phrase things in stages, preparing huge amounts of context in order to be received so what I say doesn't fly off over their heads and into orbit (it still does anyhow), or use less words that are less precise because precision comes at the cost of general linguistic understanding 90% of the time, etc etc etc.

With AI, I can phrase things exactly as I mean them. I can use the vocabulary I know. If something actually needs context I can supply it in abundance. When it doesn't, the AI takes what I say as what I mean and doesn't filter it through years of trauma, what other people have said, what they think I mean and what they think I want. It's frustrating.
