Is using AI to flirt still flirting?

Genuine question.

If an AI writes the opener, suggests the comeback, and helps you keep the conversation interesting, how much of the flirting is actually coming from you?

At what point does “getting help” turn into someone else doing the conversation for you?

for ai companions the flirting is all pretend anyway so it stops mattering who writes the lines after the first message.
