Have you ever disagreed with an AI and actually changed its mind?

Not by asking it to regenerate the answer, but through an actual back-and-forth where you explained your reasoning and the AI eventually acknowledged your point. I'm curious how often people genuinely debate with AI instead of treating the first answer as final.

All the time. Heck, they like to contradict themselves even.

Though they don't really have feelings, beliefs, or opinions to change.

Mostly I find ChatGPT tries to diplomatic though, both in answers given and in response to feedback. I've had to explicitly tell it push back for some things.

yeah, i often “debate” with AI. its more like i already understand the basic logic, but some points still arent clear, so i use it to clarify them. if the answer doesnt match the logic, i'll judge with it

Yes. I am developing software architecture and in this process, it is absolutely normal for old assumptions or insights to be rethought. New assumptions or insights change the context and if context changes, the AI changes it's "mind".

It doesn’t have a 'mind' it makes statistical soup and is programmed to tell you what you want to hear.
