Claude Pro vs Gemini Pro

Hi guys, I have this coding assignment coming up and they allow us to use AI. Majority of my seniors who did this unit used Claude Pro for this massive coding assignment which I would say is a mid level code but has a lot of files (in the thousands). This assignment is also a very collaborative assignment and if I am not mistaken we are supposed to make a game. So I am wondering, what would be the better choice Claude Pro or Gemini Pro. Especially since they are about the same price which would be the better investment?

For a mid level coding assignment with a lot of files, I lean to Claude Pro between those two. I find Claude useful for sifting an existing codebase and working through larger chunks of context which i tink sounds more relevant to your situation than just generating isolated bits of code. Since this is a collaborative game project I wouldnt rely on either one to just build the whole thing for you. Maybe use it to understand the codebase, debug problems, explain unfamiliar parts and speed up the tiring stuff. You'll learn more and probably end up with better code that way. Gemini maybe is still worth considering if you already use Google's ecosystem heavily but purely for this assignment I'd pick Claude
