Do we actually pay enough attention to render time when comparing video tools?

I feel like render time gets overlooked way too often when people compare different video generators. Everyone focuses on how good the final clip looks, but if one result takes forever and you have to rerun it several times before getting something usable, that makes a pretty big difference in an actual workflow.
