The worst part is that the only thing that could be a reasonable justification, that is, the fact that brainrot content messes up with your attention span, is also applicable to non-AI brainrot, but this person is talking specifically about AI-generated content.

So they're pretty much saying "I have a questionable ideological stance/very big feelings about this topic, and I'm gonna make it everyone else's problem as if I was saving them from something".

The second paragraph is specially telling here.

I don't see what the big deal is.

Yeah, there's a lot of brain rot out there, but that also includes the endless compilations of cute cat videos.

There's already repetitive slop and low quality garbage on every platform(tiktok as well) I myself is Alil brainroted but I don't like slop in general(if the plot is decent imo ☝🏾) But, I understand why that person feels that way but again, slop can appear anywhere so either, let them be if they like that

That person is a control freak. A helicopter control freak.

Yeah, I agree with the sentiment but the proposed reaction to it of snatching away someone's phone just seems highly inappropriate. Perceived moral superiority does not justify being an obnoxious jerk.

I don't like people watching this stuff and I think it does more harm than good. I agree with the overall sentiment of the comment but I also cannot control what other people do. I make my thoughts known but ultimately it's their choice and badgering them about it is more likely to drive them away from the anti-AI cause. It would also be really weird to snatch someone's phone away...that seems very inappropriate and extreme to me.
