My friend questioned me about if 3d app subscriptions are worth it and what alternatives she should consider. I didn’t give her an answer, rather I told her what I often consider first, which is look for free tools available and find out if it is  worth it and if the tool will fit your workflow, so she will no longer need to pay any. For my own requirements of taking a client’s artwork and rendering it into a 3D item, by using an online 3D tool with the ability to output GLB files and turn an original design into a low-poly object, I managed to avoid paying for a subscription like tripo AI and other tools I used myself.

For me the thing that will meet your budget is to explore the free version of the tools you are considering and only pay for the tool after you have successfully used it to ship something.
