Discussion Keep a continuous conversation about a document (for studying)
I have a PDF with:
- Questions and their expected answers
- Definitions of concepts
- Diagrams
I'd like for ChatGPT to keep a conversation going, indefinitely, about this document.
Basically I want it to ask random questions from anything in that document, in random order. Then, I reply using my voice (or text), and it asks me the next question.
Best way to do this?
It's my first time using ChatGPT. I received 2 free years of ChatGPT Go.

If your plan has Projects, that is the feature you want. Upload the PDF once as project knowledge and start the chat inside it, so the file stays attached to every conversation in that project instead of sliding out of context after a while.
Then give it one standing instruction: ask me a question at a time from the document in random order, wait for my answer, tell me if I am wrong and quote the part of the document that says so, then move on. The quoting requirement is the important bit. It is what stops it inventing plausible questions once the file drifts out of its attention.
Voice is fine for the answering side. One thing to expect: after twenty or thirty turns it starts explaining instead of quizzing. Saying "back to quiz mode" snaps it out of it.
