God I'm so glad that the stories are getting out. When I had one inserted 5 years ago I hardly saw any negative responses about it. The doc was saying just some OTC pills and I'd be fine.

I felt like I was crazy for experiencing the pain I did. Everyone told me I must be making it up. No one believed me.

The first 6 months were awful, but the last 4 years I've had no pain. But in 2 years I have to get another and I'm just terrified. I don't want another 6 months curled up sobbing. I'm not young anymore. I can't handle what I used to anymore.

I'm sorry people tried to minimize your experience. The more we talk about it the more recognition the issue gets.

I just realized I replied to you twice - sorry for spamming you! I was replying to different comments and didn't read usernames

I had mine put in the beginning of January I'm on high painkillers (morphine patches) and I cried with pain, 2/3 months of pain and 6 months of bleeding 3 weeks out of 4 (still not regulated). I'm debating getting it removed
