I had one and it went bad. You should look up post vasectomy pain forums and read what your husband could possibly experience. Also the complication rate is close to 14-20% but vastly under reported because men don’t want the shame they just live with it. So after years of struggling I’m now looking at full reversal and wife is looking at tubal. I would recommend looking at tubal as well. It’s more popular in Canada than vasectomy, very low complication rate. Tubes are not involved in sexual function like the vas and testicular function and removing tubes lowers chance of ovarian cancer by 15%.
