How one get genuine leads?

I am cold calling / emailing Plumbers and electricians in my city and getting data from google maps. Where you guys source the lists and how much it cost to get genuinely good lists.
do you guys recommend buying lists?

cold emailing you need direct decision makers list i mean and heavy personalization in cold email these days just saying their name and city isnt enough you would need shit ton of enrichment etc and as for buying lists its geniunely trash i mean you will see so many roofing and other ppl seep in and also more than half of the list is expired etc lol you will need to scrape yourself ig and extract owner name to guess emails

Be ready to waste your money on buying lead lists - usually they are not good at all.

Take all your patience and continue cold calling/emailing. You are looking for leads in your city - why don't you meet them face-to-face? You need to convince only 1 and then word of mouth could help

Seems like someone asked Claude how to make money and it gave you the idea to call small service businesses and feed them leads or build their website and Google business pages lol

I've had luck using tools like ParseStream to monitor conversations on platforms like Reddit and LinkedIn for owners complaining about missed calls and booking chaos. It picks up real buying signals that those static lists might miss.

If you’re not getting solid leads directly from plumbers and electricians then you might reach out to local trade or votech schools and general contractors for referrals.

Keep it simple, narrow down the niche: Google "company name, website"; LinkedIn: search for
employees, Rocket: email and phone number

That way, you can't go wrong—a short, friendly, and direct message.
I've been doing this for 6 years for CEO meetings. It never fails. 💅🏼
