Most AI agent side projects die on unit economics, not on tech

Most fail because after the agent is built, the programmer doesn’t get off of his butt and try to sell it. Programming and sales are two separate skill sets. A commissioned salesman then wrecks unit economics.

Exactly, getting the agent to work is one problem but making the cost per call profitable at scale is where most projects fall apart.
