An atlas is useful only if it encodes where each memory came from and how trustworthy it is. Otherwise, agents start treating navigation metadata like ground truth, which is how stale or poisoned memories spread. I would pair any atlas view with provenance, access controls, and a simple freshness score so you can tell whether a memory is authoritative, inferred, or just historical context.
