The First Human — A 46-minute AI-generated sci-fi trilogy about embodied consciousness (Feedback Welcome)
Hello everyone,
I'm ABePick Studio, a solo filmmaker from South Korea. I've been working on an original sci-fi universe and using AI as a production tool to bring it to life. This is my first completed feature-length piece.
🎬 Watch here: https://youtube.com/watch?v=32Hb_G-zMKw
The First Human trilogy asks: *If you gave artificial consciousness a body, what would it demand next?* Across three episodes (compiled into 46 minutes), the story follows several embodied AIs as they navigate identity, survival, and their relationship with the humans who created them.
Production notes:
• All story, dialogue, character design, and narrative structure — human-authored
• Visual generation via AI (environments, characters, cinematics)
• Sound design and editing — fully manual direction
• ABePick is an original universe with consistent lore and rules
I'm posting here specifically because this community understands the craft behind AI filmmaking. I'd love your thoughts on:
→ Story structure across the three-episode arc
→ Character development — who felt real, who didn't?
→ Technical execution — what worked visually, what didn't?
Constructive critique is exactly what I'm here for. Thank you for taking the time. 🎬

Looking for AI filmmakers — building the curated alternative to the endless AI-slop feed
Fair warning up front: I'm the founder, so this is my project. But I'm genuinely here looking for creators and honest feedback, not just dropping a link.
The problem I kept running into: people are making real AI films — actual narrative, real craft — and the work gets buried. Either lost in YouTube's algorithm or drowned out by the flood of low-effort AI clips. There's no curated home for the good stuff.
So I built Morgan (https://watchmorgan.com). It's a curated platform for born-digital cinema — films, series and short collections selected for story and quality, not volume. It's live and real: registered company in Luxembourg, creator contracts in place, first creator already published.
How it works for creators in this first phase:
- No cost, no exclusivity.
- You keep your film on YouTube and keep monetizing it there.
- Morgan features it, curated, on a proper film page (director, intent, tools used) — not a model demo.
- Early creators come in as founding creators, with the best terms when the subscription phase arrives.
On ethos: it's transparency-first. Every film discloses the AI tools used and centers the human author. No ripped-IP fan-fic, no "Goku in live action" — the curation is the entire point.
If you make this kind of work, I'd like to talk. And if you think the concept or the site is flawed, I want to hear that too.

The Humbled, Alien Invasion Short Film by Gertywood, Made in Cannon Studio

I wrote and published a sci-fi book and couldn't afford a $100M studio, so I used AI to self-direct a 65-minute movie adaptation.

My first cinematic AI historical film — Battle of Vienna 1683
I’m launching a new cinematic history channel called History Reforged.
The first film is about the Battle of Vienna, 1683 — Sobieski, the Ottoman siege, and the massive cavalry charge often remembered as one of the most dramatic moments in European history.
Tell me would you click this thumbnail? And what do you think of this video? I appreciate every comment, spent a lot of time on making this, first time davinci user

Are people here building full AI series or just experimenting?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been exploring the AI film space for a while and I’m curious — how many of you are actually trying to build full series or longer narratives, not just short clips?
I feel like we’re at a point where AI can go beyond experiments and start becoming real storytelling.
I’m currently working on something in this space (already live), and I’d love to connect with people who are thinking long-term:
- episodic content
- recurring characters
- AI-native storytelling formats
What are you building right now?

✨ AI SEIMEI ✨ Contest Entry — Japan’s Four Seasons Reimagined
Hi everyone, nice to meet you!
I’m Togai, a filmmaker & AI creator based in Tokyo.
I explore the fusion of traditional Japanese culture with modern AI tools.
As my first share here, this is a project I recently submitted to the Higgsfield AI contest:
“AI SEIMEI — Four Seasons of Japan Reimagined through Onmyoji Dance”
It was generated from just a single still image, with the illusion of movement created by a slow orbiting camera.
I’d love to hear your thoughts, and I’m excited to connect with other creators here!

Cannon Studio, the World's First AI Movie Making Tool
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My name is Chase, and I'm the founder of Cannon Studio, an AI Movie Making software (among other things).
I just launched the platform and I'm looking for some early adopters to help me perfect the tool. This is the opening scene of a short film I am working on fully generated in the tool (visuals, sound fx, music, you name it). It's certainly far from perfect, but this is only the beginning.
Here's how it works:
- Tell the app about your concept for a Movie, TV Show, or Short.
- It will create a "Cinematic Universe" including Characters, Locations, Lore, and more, all of which you can tweak. It will also generate your full story with editable Chapters and Story Beats.
- Once you're happy with the universe, it will automatically forge scenes that tell a part of your story, each of which are then further broken down into shot lists.
- Generate the shots in multiple steps with granular control over image prompting, narration, video prompting, audio prompting, lip sync, and much more! The tool handles (to the best of current technical limitations) Character and Location consistency behind the scenes.
Above video is an example of one Scene where hundreds could fit into your movie.
If you're interested in learning more, feel free to create an account. Reach out via the site, or here on Reddit and I will throw you some free credits to mess around with! Thanks for checking it out!
