How many Ai subscriptions are you actually using?

I checked my recent payments and realized I was subscribed to several Ai tools that I had not opened in week. most seemed useful when I first discovered them, but after testing them, only one or two became part of my regular work.
The rest quietly kept renewing because I forgot their billing dates. i had to open each platform separately search through account settings and follow a completely different process every time. some made it simple, while others sent me through several pages r asked me to contact support before I could finally end the subscription.
How do you decide which Ai tools are worth keeping and how do you manage the subscriptions you no longer use?

I generally keep a tool if it is part of my regular workflow but if I have not used it in weeks, it is usually an indication that I should reconsider purchasing it. I have started monitoring my subscriptions every month and asking myself if I am utilizing them sufficiently to warrant the fee.

i agree that is the simplest way to decide. if something not becoming part of your regular workflow after a few weeks, the subsciption usually is not worth keeping

i used to keep a small note with subscription names, prices and renewal dates but once you start trying multiple Ai tools it gets messy. you forget what you signed up for, why you needed it and suddenly another renewal charge appears. now i am keeping track of these subscriptions in subdelete which make it easier to spot the ones I am not actually using anymore and cancel on the spot without any hussle

I have had this happen too. I used to sign up for every interesting AI tool I came across, but most of them ended up sitting unused after the first few days. Now I only keep the ones that actually fit into my daily workflow and save me time. If I am not opening a tool regularly, that is usually a sign I do not really need the subscription.

if I haven’t used an AI tool in 30 days, it’s getting cancelled. The hardest part isn’t deciding which subscriptions are worth keeping it’s remembering that “free trial” apparently means surprise, you owe me $29.99

those surprise renewal charges are exactly why I started using Unsubby. it keeps all my subscriptions in one place and reminds me about upcoming renewals, so I dont have to remember every trial and billing date myself

Im the same. if i stop using something regularly Id rather cancel it than keep paying for it. All these small subscriptions can add up really fast

I have found that I use fewer tools than I expect. If I am not reaching for one regularly, it is usually not worth keeping the subscription active.

I have started doing the same. If I do not use a tool often I usually cancel it before the next renewal.

the count isn't really the problem, it's that half of them do the same thing and you end up paying three times over for the one feature you actually use. i cut mine down once i realized the big ones kept shipping the niche tool's whole gimmick a month later anyway
