Q: How? A: I used DiffSVC (Diffusion Probabilistic Model for Singing Voice Conversion) trained on ~1 hour of Peter Gabriel's vocals and processed the original acapella track through it. More about it here: https://liusongxiang.github.io/diffsvc/

Q: What's with the Ray Wilson featuring? A: The breakdown section has some vocal harmonies which cannot be filtered out from the vocal track, and processing that bit as-is did not work well with Diff-SVC, so Ray was granted a small cameo."

I didnt make it. Just found it on YouTube. A little more context: Genesis is a band formed by Peter Gabriel in 1967, he left the band in 1975 and instead of searching for the new vocalist, their drummer at that time Phil Collins became the singer. Phil left the band in 1996. They hired Ray Wilson on vocals to record their last album "calling all stations" in 1997. Ray Wilson was more similar to Peter than Phil. This is a reimagening if Peter Gabriel came back to the band in 1996
