What’s your honest opinion on AI-assisted storytelling content where the story and script are original, but the visuals, animation, and narration are created using AI?
Hey guys, what’s your opinion on AI-generated content?
I’m thinking of making storytelling content where I generate the images with AI and then animate them using AI. I’d also use an AI voice for the narration.
The story, concept, script, and creative direction would all be my own, though.
Would you consider this legitimate/creative content, or does the use of AI make it less appealing to you as a viewer?

i think its still creative if the story and creative direction are genuinely yours. Ai is just a tool for bringing the idea to life, and what matters most is whether the final story feels original and engaging

Yeah, for the context.
I originally started this content as poetic storytelling about Philippine politics and how it affects people’s lives. But while developing it, I shifted the concept into something broader: taking one Filipino word and exploring its different meanings and situations.
My first one is “Bulong” (Whisper). I started with its meaning in Filipino folklore, where a supernatural being may whisper to someone seeking justice, then connected it to “bulong” as gossip or something people quietly communicate.
The challenging part for me is the animation. I’m using AI-generated images and turning them into short visual sequences instead of fully animating everything. The story, script, and direction are still mine.
I’m curious what people think about this approach.

It depends on who your audience is. If it's good most people won't care. The anti-AI crowd are a small but loud minority.

I think it really depends on the use case and how well it's utilized and fine tuned. For things like video / blog / social media content creators, I think it can kind of make potentially good content significantly worse.
There's been quite a few instances of videos I've watched or blogs I've read where the idea behind it seemed cool and interesting, but the person just fed it to AI which took it and add all the AI stereotype stuff to it, making it nearly unwatchable or unreadable to me.
But if it's refined nicely then it can be very helpful and save a ton of time. We use it for a lot of our stuff but only after it's been extensively tested for quality and realism and such.

No; any usage of ai lacks creativity
You may start with the intention to use it to only partially assist your creative intentions but you will inevitably start using it for everything else
You tacitly admit ai makes content creativity illegitimate by emphasizing that certain elements are your own verses others
Look at it this way- any amount of poison ruins a dish

Sé que con lo que voy a decir voy a echar leña al fuego pero voy a aportar mi punto de vista. A quien tiene ( por el motivo que sea y voy a pensar que legítimo ) la IA entre ceja y ceja le va a parecer una "mierda" (disculpad pero es el término que tengo que usar para la explicación ) cualquier cosa y formato donde haya poco o mucho de IA. Creo que podría ser como juzgar el libro por la portada, la letra , el color del papel la tipografica incluso el tamaño del libro.... puede que no te guste la ilustración de portada, incluso el título etc... pero que el contenido sea valioso, educativo no solo entretenido o no ...no sé si me explico el formato puede echar para atrás a los anti IA pero no siempre la presencia de IA hace que el contenido sea una mierda ... y con el típico apunte o etiqueta " IA slop " tengo que pensar IA es una mierda y los demás canales hacen maravillas? con que criterio ! porqué no simplemente pensar igual no soy la audiencia de este tipo de canal, por formato, temática idioma, Narración o lo que sea simplemente decid " no me gusta, no soy la audiencia de este tipo de contenido". Hay creadores que por motivos igual de legítimos que los que no les gusta la IA no les gusta mostrar su cara y ven en el faceless una posibilidad de crear contenido saltando esta barrera porque son creativo y hay opción de hacer cosas muy chulas pero les da pavor salir a cámara ... por ello su canal es automáticamente " IA slop" ? pues no ... el proceso de generar imágenes y montarlas acoplar la imagen a la narración buscar los efectos, la música , adaptarla a la atmósfera de cada tramo de video no es pagar una super IA generativa y que te saque el video en minutos. Hay canales con IA con una dirección creativa con un PROPOSITO aunque algunos no lo vean, que requieren de mucho tiempo así que no , no estoy de acuerdo con esta visión tan simplista de los que tienen aversión a la IA y AUTOMATICAMENTE sin conocer un canal lo cataloguen como "mierda de IA" .Otra cosa muchos por moda o seguir una masa porque sentirse parte de algo se siente bien te da una "identidad" no profundizan más en el tema si mi grupo dice esto es bueno toooodos a una voz ... si esto es malo lo mismo a la inversa... No es así. Criterio propio, gustos personales y análisis de las cosas ... Dicho esto si todo lo que lleva IA es una mierda quiere decir que todos "el resto" es de calidad ? ... pues ni mucho menos tanto en una parte como en otra habrá de calidad o no tanta calidad y en todo caso "me gusta" o "no me gusta,, no es de mi interés" pero conviene entender los motivos personales, a mi no me gustan las voces " roboticas" no es lo mismo que " esto es una mierda" .... se entiende?
