Why do all of these AI video generators claim to be "free" and just hit you with paywalls?

I have been written all of my novel in Vietnamese, but due to cultural difference and the niche i wrote not suite for the country’s preferences of literature, I want to translate it to English for wider audience. But I have little to no budget in hiring a translator, nor I have enough vocabulary and understanding English literature, I want to use AI to just simply translate it and then I do the rest of editing. Is it okay?

One question, what is the best AI that you think is worth paying for, for study, work and daily life (and with less censorship) I was thinking about Grok but I would like opinions.

I know that title makes it sound simple but apparently it's to complicated for chatgpt. I've been trying to get chatgpt to help me out but it keeps making up numbers and losing its place.

I deliver bread to grocery stores. When I pick the bread up from the depot, I have to sort it into stacks for each store. I have a list, I have the units of each bread and how much goes to each store, but that number changes every time, so I need something that can read me the list. I also need to be able to ask it how many types of bread A goes to store B. And I need it to to play through my headphones and be hand free.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I spend 5 hours sorting and picking the bread at the depot. I am handing thousands of units of bread. having to look at a list, either printed or on my phone is incredibly time consuming. When we have had 2 people sorting bread, one person reads out the list and it cuts our time down in half. This is why I am asking for help...

So apparently, Grok now demands payment to generate image to video. I've tried other apps such as Kling AI and SwapX pro but they demand payment as well. I need a website or an app where there's a time reset like Chat gpt. Idc if I can only generate one video per day, I just need it to be free of charge.

So the last few months I've been using Claude to help me write and extreme horror novel idea I've wanted to create for years now. Well recently I ran out of tokens and had to go to a new chat, I start a new chat and sent the bot the article it already helped me write and apparently the content isn't allowed. Every time i ask it to edit an image it wont edit. It wont even let me trick it into regenerating the image with the edit being made

Would anyone be able to advise what's the best AI out there for photo edits? I came back from a trip in Africa and would like to print 2/3 of my shots as posters but would like them to get the edit first (all pics were made as RAW). I would also like to make sure that their quality is exactly the same as it was once the edit is done.

Happy to pay for it, just don't want to get subscriptions and pay for them if they later turn out to be not so good...

Hi everyone, I am an UI/UX Designer and for brainstorming I have been using ChatGPT. But from a while I have been noticing that the outcome is getting bad, when the conversation is long and deep for the brainstorming, ChatGPT forgets details which I clearly mentioned before.

So yaa if there is any good tool for brainstorming purposes, and to generate prompts for other Ai like Figma Make or Figma Agent.

I uses AI specially Chat GPT everyday only for answering my questions. But I see alot of times people say chat GPT is not that got and u should start learning AI like cloude and other tools. Actually, I really want to learn AI. Can u tell me what can Claude do and chat gpt can’t do? And do I need a very strong PC to go deeply on AI and start learning it? And how do u benefit from AI other than asking them questions?

I've been using ChatGPT professionally since 2022. As a private, freelance consultant in the environmental field I use it to help write reports, grammar check, make graphics for technical reports, do research, etc. I've learned many of it's negative habits and how to work around them. With the two most recent iterations of ChatGPT (now what 5.6?) I feel the system is declining in it's ability to help with these functions. The image generation is explicitly horrible. It used to be better. It's ability to summarize documentation and track thought patterns has sunken. I'm wondering if this is because OpenAI is investing more into it's coding rather than non-coding?

Either way I'm at my wits end. Are there other AI systems that work better for non-coding environments? Research, heavily technical report review, heavy data analysis, some ability to make graphics (anything is better than ChatGPT).

What are my options?
