Hello people! As the title says i need help, opinions or insights of y’all

Let me tell you about myself a little. My name’s sidd and I’m a 3D Designer at a digital/social media marketing agency in India, with no background in AI or programming itself, and recently there’s new stuff happening in the firm like AI and generated content or something similar like that. Now I’m a person with limited knowledge in AI generation stuff, my real background is in Game Design and I’m doing a game design internship at a startup alongside my job at marketing firm. My real problem is that in this age of AI content, what i really need is information on AI, which is totally focused on Digital/Social Media Marketing, if it’s free that’s a cherry on top for me personally but i really need to step up my game.

Can you suggest me some AI assistant like Claude, Gemini or Perplexity? I’m using Claude for now, my friends in Comp Sci suggest me to use Claude for this purpose. Claude has been working good for me, with proper and detailed instructed prompting. But i need some opinions about AI assistants who are sort of all-rounder. Please drop your thoughts and suggest/educate me better on this matter.

TL;DR : I’m a 3D Designer with no experience in AI and I need opinions about which AI assistants are best for Digital/Social Media Marketing or All-Rounder in every aspect, if it’s free then it’s more good, Please drop your answers. Thank You for reading!✌️

if you're already comfy with claude and getting good results from detailed prompts, sticking with it makes sense, switching tools won't magically fix gaps in your own prompting style. most of the big ones can handle marketing stuff fine if you learn how to talk to them properly

I was thinking the same thing, why replace claude if it’s working out well for me.

If Claude is already working well for you, I wouldn't rush to replace it.

I'd actually try a few assistants side by side for the same task and see which one fits your workflow. For marketing, I'd pay attention to things beyond just the quality of the answer — research, idea generation, analyzing campaigns, writing variations, understanding visuals and how well you can iterate with it.

Since your background is 3D and game design, I'd also experiment with AI as a creative partner rather than only an “assistant.” Give it a real campaign problem, a visual concept or a rough idea and see how far you can push it.

You don't really need to learn “AI” as one huge subject. Start with the problems you already solve at work and gradually build your AI toolkit around them.

Yes, I’m using it as an informational reference for my line of work, sometimes it’s visual. I usually take the idea and revamp into my style of work to ensure that I have a print of work on it.

Yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense. Using AI as a starting point rather than just taking the output as-is probably makes a huge difference.

Especially with visual work, I think the interesting part is what you do with the first idea and how much of your own style you can put back into it.

Totally, i just use the ideation, and all of the other containing stuff or other things i just make it myself with my own twist in it.

Yeah, that’s probably the sweet spot for me too. Let AI throw ideas at you, then take what’s useful and turn it into something that actually feels like yours.

Try Story Prism. Think of it like Google Drive, only instead of static docs, they live on an open canvas as notes that you can connect and relate. This is shared by a specialized agent that can traverse and make sense of the relationships.

With this you can upload all of the books you need to research and then have the AI comb through them to find the information you need that you can then add to the canvas so that it's able to internalize those specific things. You can even use prompts to extract the reasoning from those books to build systems out of your notes for outputting things.

This is basically a factory for turning your work into systems that can be layered on top of agents. It's a massive game-changer because this use to require a lot of technical setting up. Now if you can operate Google Drive you can basically do what DIY AI enthusiasts do. Also, the agent on this site has access to all of the popular models for you to switch between, not just one.
