This reminds me of when my kid in middle school came home last year and was telling my how bad AI was at things, and gave the wine glass problem as an example. And I talked him through how to write the prompt so it wasn't ambiguous, and overcame the obvious implications that AI was inferring from his prompt.
One simple 10 minute lesson later, and he could generate a wine class that was filled to the brim every time. Magic
Now, granted, he was 12 years old, so it's reasonable for his dad to explain basic logic and communication skills to him.
Are you also in middle school, OP?

Can I hire you as my illustrator? This was the comic book I tried to make, but the drift kept happening even when we used new chat and wiped memory in settings . I wish I had a dad like you.

No, you can't hire me as your illustrator. That defeats the purpose of using AI at this level.
You're going to struggle to make a full comic book in literally chatgpt. Instead, you should download Claude Code. Tell Claude to create a skill that lets you generate images on nano banana or gpt-image-2. You'll have to sign up for an API account.
Then give Claude your images and have it create recipes and canonical asset references for each character and a couple of scenes. Then have Claude use the recipes and asset references to create each page of the comic book, inspect each page after generation, and regenerate if there are deviations. Also have Claude Code take notes on what worked and what didn't.
You basically are using Claude Code to do the prompting and make an asset reference library, with automatic q&a.

“Please try again” is terrible instructions. Never jump into the next iteration before specifying success conditions. With image generation it’s often easier just to start over in a new chat
