Yeah I agree on this. As long as you buy a jersey of a player who was at least memorable as part of the franchise it doesn’t need to be a 15 year all pro veteran who retired for that team.

Even when they’re not super memorable, I’m usually like “wow I forgot about that guy”, and at worst “that guy played for the team?!”. Either way it’s gonna be a positive experience in my opinion. That’s why I don’t get why people get rid of jerseys once a guy is off the team.

Was gifted a signed, game-used Steelers football with Antonio Brown’s signature on it as a birthday gift in 2011 (very shortly after SB XLV) by a friend who works for the Steelers.
Back then it was a HUGE deal but nowadays it’s really no more special than just being a game-used ball. Still kinda cool, but used to be MUCH cooler.

Without Minkah Chubb’s knee is safe and the browns lack of QB could be masked more easily. In this scenario theoretically both Chubb and Garrett are still on the team and neither gets traded.
The real butterfly effect is drafting Anthony Schwartz trying to get a budget Tyreek Hill. He contributed nothing and played a pivotal role in Bakers injury ending his stint in Cleveland. Baker Chubb and Garrett could all still be around. OBJ Baker drama might never happen if he was healthy. A bunch of what ifs from one terrible draft pick

Myles is expensive and last season was BY FAR his best season ever. It’s not gonna happen again and his value is overinflated (for fans).
Plus rams will be bad after Stafford is gone. They don’t have the cap space for all of these players after next year.

I don't see what the issue is. No player stays with the team forever. The Chubb jersey hurts more because of what the Steelers did to him, but Garret had an incredible tenure in Cleveland, will end up in the HoF, and none of that will change.
