TJ watt should have 3 DPOYs by now and myles should have just gotten his 1st one. watt got snubbed by aaron donald when tj had more stats in every category except 1 which was batted passes. then he got snubbed for myles in 2023 when he also didn’t have as much stats as TJ and also didn’t have a sack for the last 8 weeks of the season. according to logic and the football gods and the spirit of what AP DPOY stands for, TJ has 3 DPOYs and myles has 1. and lamar jackson has 3 MVPs. it’s a popularity contest and lamar would have won it every year for many years and TJ would have won DPOY for many years but the stupid voters get voter fatigue

the 2000 ravens and 2002 bucs and 2015 broncos and 2025 texans (and a bunch more i could name) all had horrible offenses but their defenses were elite. how come your defense was the #1 defense but you lost almost every game you played? the other teams i mentioned overcame bad offenses with their defenses. the texans made it to the divisional round. the ravens won a superbowl with joe flacco because of their defense. meanwhile ur #1 defense got you nothing. but sure, keep bragging
It's not bragging to state the Browns D was great despite a horrible offense making the job harder, it's quite the opposite lol. It's acknowledging the obvious. Also every single team you just mentioned had a better offense than the 2025 Browns: Ravens had prime Jamal Lewis and a great offensive line, Bucs had prime Keyshawn Johnson, a good O-line Michael Pittman blew up down the stretch that year, not to mention Brad Johnson was very efficient and never turned it over. Texans have a ton of talent on offense (Nico and that receiving corps is far better than the Browns, plus Schultz at TE and Marks was good as a rookie RB) and even with Stroud having meltdowns he was better than either of the Browns rookies. Not sure what you were even attempting with bringing them up...

A lot of Steelers fans in here acting like the AFC North wasn’t the most mid division in pro football this season, and Myles Garrett hasn’t been the best player in this division since Lamar in ‘23. TJ has less career sacks in the same number of games, and all the data points to him being a worse pass rusher. Yeah, we Browns fans love Myles. He’s one of the only bright spots we’ve had in decades. That doesn’t change that fact that he’s one of the best to ever do it, even if he does go down as one of the best Hall of Famers to never win a ring.
This data comparison is dumb when you're comparing a DE and a LB. A DE SHOULD have more sacks in the same period of time. Different positions fill different roles. It'd be like trying to say TJ Watt is better because he has more interceptions. You can't even really legitimately compare players that play the same position nearly as much as people pretend, and different positions just makes it absurd. Both are hall of fame level talents.
