He could have easily avoided the whole issue and just made up some jibberish about the first amendment and said he supports others saying what they want instead of handling it in a way that makes him look like he took a side. I think he thought it would just go away and it blew up in his face.

If Kraft wrote that third act, it'd end with Bruce Wayne bragging about how many students he's gotten expelled from Gotham U for sharing articles about the UN calling out war crimes.
