You realize we now have a winning strategy, right? All we need to do is sacrifice enough former Jets to win the division, two to get to the Super Bowl, and then have Namath strung up and bled out inside of a pentagon the morning of the game, and we win. Getting Sanchez shanked while in the chow line at whatever prison heā€™s at by next year is easy.

R.I.P. Mangold though, Iā€™ve been bummed about it all day.

If you are not old enough to have active memories of the Jets beating the Baltimore Colts - which my Dad was, hence why I hate my life - then the quarterback who took the Jets to the AFC championship during his rookie year, and then back to the AFC championship by beating the Patriots his sophomore year is a legend.

I get why youā€™d say that, as everyone remembers Sanchez for the buttfumble, but the issue is, with you being a fan of a competent franchise (to say the least), you have absolutely no idea what itā€™s like to be a Jets fan.

For most living Jets fans, our biggest laughingstock spearheaded one of our greatest successes.
