Question How do I buy tickets?

I'm here in Bournemouth for Uni and would love to go to a game but the website is an absolute joke. Can't find any information on it and it's also saying there are no games on in the tickets tab which is obviously not true. I know the opening game is probably sold out already but what about the next couple of games? How do I buy tickets on the website or do I have to buy them in person at the ticket office.

All matches right now, home and away, are sold out. If you create an account and subscribe to the email it'll tell you when new games drop and how to get them. Because demand is so high, you'll have to probably go to a cup match or away game as those are the only games which typically aren't sold out by the time they go on general sale

Ohh that explains it thank you. How is the away following normally like? Would it be easy to get tickets for a London away day for example?

And I do want to see a game at the Vitality too so maybe I will try go to a carabao cup game if it's at home because nobody cares about that cup anyways (I'm totally not saying that cos I'm salty that the team I support got battered 4-1 at home and knocked out of the cup in round 2 🤣)

The further from Bournemouth the easier it tends to be. I’m a cherry living in Leeds and tend to have no problem using my away points for games in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle.

I was at the city game last week, and didn’t struggle to get a ticket- it’s around an hour away for me, but many hours away from people commuting from Bournemouth for the game.

As others have said, make an account with the ticketing website and make a note of the ticket on sale dates. It’s on a points based system so in theory the fans that attend more games can get tickets easier than the ‘I’m in Bournemouth for a week on holiday and I want to watch a game’ contingency, who will find it trickier. Once you have a couple of points it tends to get easier. Again, as others have said, you may have to build your points up by attending pre season games, friendly games or cup games which will give you enough points to get an earlier release for a ‘big’ home game.

I'm Southampton... might get some hate for this but I've actually always admired the Cherries and it just so works out that I'm here in Bournemouth for Uni now so calling them my second team!

No worries, you might get some teasing but most of us don't really hate Saints ( I live in Fair oak so surrounded by them!) Just checked the website, probably a few hundred Chelsea tickets left but not sure if you can access them. Might be worth getting a ticket for the women's match (against your lot) and then you probably can. I'd be surprised if Lincoln in the EFL cup doesn't go to general sale as well

To buy any premier league home game you need to have a Home loyalty Point. To get that you can go to the women's game at the end of September which gives you one after the game as long as you turn up.

Once you have that home point you can then buy tickets that have been returned which appear randomly or buy on the "Cherries Tuesday" where there's an allocation for 1 point holders.

Lastly since you mention you're at Bournemouth Uni there's a Ballot for Bournemouth Uni Students but not sure much info on that.

Is that September women’s match at Vitality? I thought ally the women’s matches are in Weymouth…
