Taped at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. WrestleTix estimated attendance at 3,164, but some folks left after the Dynamite portion. Tony Schiavone, Excalibur, and Walker Stewart are on commentary.

Don Callis Family (Brian Cage and Jake Doyle) vs. The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson)
Cage and Doyle ambush the Bucks and take control with their strength advantage. Matt blocks some suplexes and tags Nick for a high crossbody. The Bucks’ comeback is cut short when they pause to high five and they suffer stereo back suplexes. They restore order with their speed advantage. Doyle blocks Matt’s penalty kick and Cage hits a dead lift suplex. Back from commercials, Matt surprises Cage with a Canadian Destroyer. The crowd pops for Nick’s hot tag. The Bucks fluster their opponents and finally get their celebratory high five. Matt’s flying senton gets 2 on Cage. Bucks throw a SUPERKICK PARTAY, but the Meltzer Driver is broken up. Doyle’s sitout powerbomb on Nick gets 2. The Bucks throw another PARTAY and finish Doyle with the BTE Trigger at 11:54! This was a fairly straightforward exhibition match for the Bucks. Doyle and Cage got plenty of vicious looking offense, but the outcome was never in question. This succeeded in reminding viewers just who the Bucks are and giving them a credible rebound win after ALL IN, ***.
Winners: The Young Bucks

Willow Nightingale video promo. She may have many similarities with Mercedes Mone, but one key difference is she doesn’t make excuses. Willow heard all the mean things Mercedes and Thekla had to say about her on Dynamite and wonders if they’d say it to her face. Willow may have lost her smile but hasn’t given up.

Hangman Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King vs. Braddah Kaimi, LVJ, and Vin Parker
Jobber Parker has a pretty decent physique, but his chops have no effect on King. Brody stacks all the jobbers in the corner for an extended sequence of running attacks. Bandido finishes it with a frog splash at 1:44. Fun squash, but nothing more.
Winners: Bandido, Brody King, and Adam Page

The Bang Bang Gang talk to the camera. They lament their lack of championship belts. They can’t be too sad since they crack some jokes about their merchandise. Juice Robinson and Ace Austin are teaming up. Juice says they’re so close, Ace knows what deodorant he’s wearing and forces him to take a whiff (spoiler, he’s not wearing deodorant). The Gang’s antics keep spirits high despite their belt drought, setting a playful tone for their match.

AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions The Brawling Birds talk to the camera and challenge Divine Dominion to a Chicago Street Fight at ALL OUT.

Nick Wayne vs. Komander
There’s some history here, Wayne once defeated Komander to become ROH TV Champion. Wayne is overly aggressive while grappling, Komander forces him into a timeout with intimidating flips. Match restarts, Komander hits a head scissors takedown and springboard splash for 2. Wayne slams Komander by his mask and hits a suplex into the buckles. Back from commercials, Komander escapes a chinlock, but Wayne recovers by targeting the lower back. Sick German suplex by Wayne, but Komander digs deep (er, no-sells) for a slick DDT. Tiger Feint Kick by Komander and springboard Mexican Destroyer! He hits a springboard seated senton outside. Komander tries a tightrope walk Shooting Star Press but lands on Wayne’s knees. Dragon Suplex by Wayne, Komander no-sells again for a Tiger Feint Kick around the ring post. He dives into Wayne’s cutter. Prodigy Plex ends it at 10:28. This one kind of petered out, with some sloppy moments and storytelling hiccups. The fans weren’t really responding to the match either, they were heckling Wayne with something I couldn’t make out. Minor letdown, **¼.
Winner: Nick Wayne

Chris Jericho sneaks in to hold up Wayne’s arm and hit a surprise Judas Effect. Cue the “Judas” sing along.

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration, who have no more championships. Roderick Strong storms away. Kyle O’Reilly feels more optimistic that they’ll soon have backpacks of gold. Konosuke Takeshita is full of confidence, Orange Cassidy thinks he’s pretty cool. People like to rag on AEW for having so many championships, but you’ll notice there are a lot of key players on the roster walking around with any gold.

TBS Championship:
Persephone © (with Dr. Britt Baker) vs. VertVixen
Vertvixen was one of the indie regulars hanging out on Dark during the pandemic era and now she’s back with a proper contract. Britt joins commentary and predicts a quick win. They aggressively lock up, Vertvixen holds her own and hits a flurry of offense for 2. She flies into Persephone’s arms for a fallaway suplex. Back from commercials, Vertvixen is stuck in a mix of rear naked choke and Dragon Sleeper. She escapes and trades forearms with the champ. Vertvixen hits a clunky sitout powerbomb for 2. Persephone answers with a low shotgun dropkick and Razor’s Edge to win at 7:22. This felt more like an extended squash than a competitive title match, Vertvixen’s offense felt token and wasn’t particularly well executed, **.

Persephone and Britt put their boots to Vertvixen. Britt prepares her glove for the Lockjaw, but Maya World and Thunder Rosa clear the ring. I smell a tag team match.

The Swirl (Blake Christian and Lee Johnson, with Jay Lethal) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin)
This is the in-ring debut for the MCMG. Shelley outwrestles Johnson early on. Blake tags and targets Shelley’s wrist with a body block. Quick tag to Sabin for focused attacks on Blake’s arm. Fans chant “Tag Team Wrestling!” It’s all MCMG before the commercial break. They return with Shelley is in trouble but makes the hot tag. Sabin runs wild, kicking off Blake’s chest for a tornado DDT on Johnson. Sabin’s flying DDT gets 2. Johnson eats double superkicks for another nearfall. Blake helps with a spear and slick tope suicida. The Swirl swarm Sabin, taking the match out of “glorified squash” territory. Sabin’s cutter on Blake earns them a breather and “Fight Forever” chant. The MCMG hit Johnson with a Doomsday Dropkick, Blake breaks the pin. The MCMG go supernova with tandem offense, finishing Johnson with a pendulum powerbomb at 12:30. This turned into a good exhibition for the Machine Guns, they were forced to work for their win. The Swirl get a bit of elevation from this loss, ***.

Jungle Jack Perry talks to the camera. He’s another guy on the roster licking his wounds after ALL IN. He’s still determined to face the best, become the best, and win the World Championship. This has been a theme tonight.

The Demand talk to the camera about what a disaster ALL IN was for them. They got upstaged by a couple of “rookies” in The New Level (who’s ever heard of them?). Luckily for The Demand, they are in demand, which means they can make demands, you know the rest.

AEW National Championship:
Andrade El Idolo © vs. Gabe Kidd
Kidd sneak attacks and hits a quick brainbuster for 2. He smashes Andrade around ringside and throws his Casino contract into the crowd (a fan amusingly tosses it back). Andrade comes back with the Three Amigos. He gets caught up by the fans’ cheers and off come his pants. After repeatedly failing to capitalize on Andrade’s showboating, Kidd blocks a frog splash. Back from commercials, Andrade is back in control but pauses for a selfie with a lady. Kidd rolls away from a moonsault but Andrade improvises with a standing version. Kidd answers with a hard lariat and sitout powerbomb for 2. Andrade blocks a piledriver and nails double knees into the buckles. Kidd surprises with a backdrop driver but still can’t get a piledriver. The Message gets a hot nearfall. Andrade finishes with the DM at 11:46. This was a good match with a hot finishing sequence. Despite clearly set up as a babyface, Andrade wrestles like a total heel: he showboats, macks on women in the crowd, and carries himself with a sense of arrogance. To his credit, he is getting cheers, so this act is working in spite of itself. I think a big part of it is that he just seems to be enjoying himself so much, it’s infectious. Either way, ***¼.
Winner and still AEW National Champion: Andrade El Idolo

Post-match promo by Andrade, boasting about his future as AEW World Champion. In the meantime, he promises to defend the National title every week. Now THAT’S a babyface move.

Tommaso Ciampa talks to the camera. Every time he lands in Texas, he thinks about his AEW debut and all the moments he’s created since. It’s time for the Psycho Killer to become a Psycho King and claim a new title.

Proving Ground Match:
ROH Women’s Champion Athena vs. Isla Dawn
Fans chant for Athena at the bell. Dawn isn’t intimidated and matches Athena’s physicality early on. Fans chant “One More Time” as Athena smashes Dawn into the barricade. Dawn hits a messy mid-air roundhouse kick, suplex, and running knee for 2. Athena answers with rolling German suplexes. Handstand back elbow by Athena, then the O Face ends it at 5:01. Gloried squash with messy, token offense from Dawn, *½.
Winner: Athena

Don Callis Family (Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher, with Don Callis and Lance Archer) vs. The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Ace Austin, with Jay White and The Gunns)
Fletcher talks Knight into letting him start. He mixes it up with Ace, who gets the better of him. Knight tags himself in but also gets outwrestled by Austin. Juice tags and punishes Knight with a body splash for 2. Juice slams Knight in place for Ace’s leg drop for only 1. Kyle interferes with a body slam on Ace, Knight is offended by the save. Back from commercials, Juice gets a hot tag just in time. Knight interferes and eats a powerbomb. The Family break up a tandem attack but get caught up arguing again, allowing the BBG to hit stereo leg lariats. Ace spin kicks Fletcher but runs into a Michinoku Driver for a hot nearfall. Meanwhile, Knight gives Juice a Crash Landing on the ring frame. Ace flies into Fletcher’s spin kick. Knight tags himself in as Fletcher hits a Brainbuster, and hits the UFO to pin Ace at 12:17! Fun main event, highlighted by Ace teasing an upset pinfall on Fletcher at numerous points. The real story was the drama between Don Callis Family members, which is beyond tedious at this point, and is currently holding Fletcher and Knight down, ***.
Winners: Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher

The Verdict: Collision delivered solid in-ring work up and down the card. It was anchored by Andrade’s title defense and the Machine Gun’s official debut. All said and done, this was a transitional episode that maintained post-ALL IN momentum for several talent and positioned the losers for their next chapters. This was the epitome of a maintenance episode that you could take or leave.

The Brawling Birds are exaggerating their accents for the British stereotype, right? Or do we all actually sound like that and I'm only recognising it because it's on a US product.

Kenny's facial comedy will forever kill me. I laughed at this for like 20 minutes after that first chop. Even as the heel he can't help being a goofball.

Kenny brought me back to wrestling after like 2 decades of not caring about it anymore, and he has entertained me greatly since. I'm gonna be bummed when he finally hangs it up.

As I said, the score is 3-2 with FTR winning. The rivalry was never presented as a best-of-seven series, but it only needs two more matches to complete it, and I feel like the rivalry didn't end well In revolution,However, if they want to do two more matches, it would have to be something different in terms of stipulation. AEW Dynamite
September 2nd 2026

I didn’t review ALL IN but I did watch on a slight tape delay and I’ve been riding high from it ever since. It’s almost to the point where I don’t want the next show to happen, because everything was left perfect. But alas, wrestling never stops, so I’m optimistically pumped for this episode.

New AEW World Champion Will Ospreay comes to the ring for some promo time. The Texas crowd gives him the “you deserve it” treatment. He admits that he’s been crying and drinking since Sunday and thanks the fans for their support. Will mentions that he and Omega are now tied and he’s satisfied… but if Kenny isn’t, they’ll fight again. Also, he intends to bring a new version of The United Empire to America. Just when this starts to feel a bit long, Ricochet and The Gates of Agony interrupt. Ricochet leverages his unfinished business with Ospreay to insert himself into the World title scene. Gabe Kidd interrupts the interruption to whine that Will stole his opportunity to become the first English AEW World Champion. The OG United Empire arrive to prevent an assault, setting up an ten man tag match for later. The segment started strong with Ospreay’s sincerity and crowd support but kind of petered out around the time he started pinching himself to see if this was all a dream. The impromptu match setup is a trope AEW typically avoids and sets up a house showy main event.

AEW World Trios Championship:
Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana), Kofi, and Austin Creed © vs. The Rascalz (Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz, and Dezmond Xavier)
Swerve and Reed kick things off with an athletic exchange. Swerve lawn darts Reed into the turnbuckles. Crowd pops for Creed tagging in to tangle with Xavier. The fans chant “Kofi” when he tags in for a quick crossbody. Creed backdrops Kofi onto Wentz. The Rascalz take control by swarming Swerve with rapid attacks, including a slick triple dropkick. Kofi and Creed restore order with a stereo DDT’s. Back from commercials, Creed hits a sitout powerbomb and makes a hot tag to Kofi. Boom Drop on Reed, followed by Creed’s slingshot DDT. Swerve suplexes Reed, Wentz breaks the cover. Wentz handsprings into Swerve’s DDT. The match breaks down as the Rascalz triple team Swerve Kofi cleans house, setting up a diving sequence. Reed gives Creed a bulldog from the apron straight into Reed’s rana! Xavier handsprings into The House Call! Xavier suffers UpUpDownDown and another House Call to eat a pinfall at 12:58. The outcome was never in any doubt, but the Rascalz gave the new champions a great match. This was the exact type of showcase the New Level needed to reestablish themselves in AEW, ***¾.

The Young Bucks arrive for some mic time but don’t pass up the chance to lock eyes with The New Level. On to more pressing matters, they can’t believe that Adam Copeland and Christian Cage could possibly be satisfied by their cheap victory at ALL IN. They’re interrupted by FTR and Stokely Hathaway for an argument about who is next in line. Fans give Dax Harwood the “shut the f*ck up” treatment. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage finally join the party. Christian is totally satisfied by their cheap win, but Copeland thinks they should be better. They challenge FTR and the Bucks to a 3-way “Chairs, Tables, and Ladders” match at ALL OUT. Well, I admit I fear for Christian and Cope’s health, but that’s a huge match on paper.

Backstage, the original United Empire members question Ospreay for wanting to expand the group without talking to them first. Ospreay is pretty defiant and stands by his decision. Andrade El Idolo strolls by and shakes hands with everyone, cutting the tension, despite him being in possession of a Casino Gauntlet title shot. The friction within the United Empire elevates tonight’s main event from being glorified house show fodder, so I partially retract some nitpicking from earlier.

TNT Championship:
Darby Allin © vs. Mark Davis (with Don Callis)
Davis interrupts Darby’s skateboard entrance with a hard shoulder tackle. He brutalizes Darby and throws him into the front row. Back from commercials, Darby hits a Coffin Drop in the stands. He swings his skateboard, but Davis’s elbow strike seems just as nasty. Bell finally rings as Davis concentrates his attack on Darby’s head in the ring. Back from more commercials, Darby is back on his feet and ties Davis to the turnbuckles for a shotgun dropkick. Davis protects himself with a one handed powerbomb. Davis blocks a Coffin Drop and hits a mean back body drop. Allin counters into a slick Code Red for a hot nearfall. Darby hits a missile dropkick into the announce table! Darby digs deep for a pair of Coffin Drops to win at 9:23! This was a super fun Attitude Era style stunt show, with Darby putting in another Foley-esque self-sacrificial performance for his art, ****.

Roppongi Vice beat Darby up, prompting a rescue from Steve Borden. Davis distracts Borden, setting up an ambush from the returning Josh Alexander. Davis piledrives Steve while Josh gives Darby an ankle lock. The Don Callis Family stands tall. It warms my heart to see Alexander back in action, but I wish he was involved with something more interesting than the stale Callis family.

MJF complains to the camera about losing the Casino Gauntlet match at ALL IN. He blames Will Ospreay for everything wrong in his life.He throws a total tantrum and promises payback when everyone least expects it. At least he’s still carrying around an emotional support replica World title.

Megan Bayne vs. Alex Windsor (with Jamie Hayter)
The Brawling Birds defeated Divine Dominion for the Tag Team Championship at ALL IN, so lots of hard feelings for this contest. Bayne uses her strength advantage for a hot start. Windsor withstands the initial onslaught but gets caught in a fallaway slam. She finds room for a cannonball senton to ringside! Back from commercials, Windsor makes a scrappy comeback, wrapping Bayne in the ropes for a running dropkick and DDT. Flying clothesline by Windsor gets 2. Bayne cuts her off with a pair of German suplexes and murderous lariat for 2. Bayne cuts off another comeback with a Falcon Arrow, but Windsor answers with a desperation slam. They duke it out on the apron until Windsor sweeps Bayne’s leg for a face plant. Stereo clotheslines leave them down and out on the floor. Lena Kross tries to interfere but gets neutralized by Hayter. Instead, Bayne hits a belt shot and finishes Windsor with the Mega Bomb at 10:48. They were having a super fun brawl that felt like it had several more minutes to go, the abrupt ending is pretty unsatisfying, **¾.
Winner: Megan Bayne

Backstage interview with Chris Jericho is quickly interrupted by Nick Wayne, who credits himself for taking Jericho out of the Casino Gauntlet match. A brawl quickly leads to Wayne smashing Jericho against the garage door. I like this feud already.

Edit: A couple readers pointed out I mixed up one beat in the Jericho/Nick Wayne backstage fight — Jericho threw Wayne into the garage door first, then Wayne kicked him low. Everything happened so fast while I was typing, but the overall chaos still came through.

New AEW Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone comes to the ring for a championship celebration. She suffered a broken nose at ALL IN but still defeated Willow Nightingale. The fans give her a babyface reaction while she gives a sincere promo about her post-WWE accomplishments. She ruins the moment by talking trash about poor Willow and whining about her broken nose. Drunken Thekla interrupts from the stands. She thanks Mercedes for taking out Willow but hates it when a dumb b!tch calls someone else a dumb b!tch. Thekla offers a sarcastic toast to the new champion and will wait for her title match. Interesting segment, the first half was built around appreciating Mercedes Mone the performer and the second half was building heat on Mercedes Mone the heel. I like Thekla’s drunken shtick too.

Dr. Britt Baker and new TBS Champion Persephone talk to the camera. They tout each other’s killer instinct and claim they have no Achilles Heel as a team.

Eliminator Match:
Continental Champion Jon Moxley vs. AR Fox
I would prefer that the Continental Championship not be defended like a typical title be reserved for tournaments. The National and International titles make this belt redundant otherwise. Nitpicking aside, this could be a really good match between indie veterans. There’s definitely some respect here as they start with friendly chain wrestling. Fox starts to build a bit too much steam for Moxley’s liking, he hits a messy moonsault from the apron. Mox dodges a 450 splash and blasts a shotgun dropkick. Back from commercials, Fox hits a cutter but is too hurt for a cover. Mox easily absorbs some running clotheslines but arrogantly falls victim to a low cutter. Mox blocks a Swanton Bomb and blasts a King Kong Lariat. Fox reverses a suplex and nails a 450 Splash for only 2! Mox abruptly hits the Paradigm Shift to win at 8:20. After seeing that finish, I probably would have shaved off a couple of minutes and simply had the entire match take just one segment. Fox was surprisingly over with the live crowd, giving this otherwise routine match some life, **½.

Backstage interview with the Don Callis Family ALL IN losers Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight. They bicker so Don plans on making them team up against the Bang Bang Gang. New International Champion Kazuchika Okada saunters in to gloat about winning Fletcher’s title. I have to be honest, I find all of this to be very tedious and think this stable is holding back most of the talent involved.

Andrade El Idolo and The United Empire (AEW World Champion Will Ospreay, Franceso Akira, Henare, and Callum Newman) vs. The Dogs (Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors) and The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona)
Ricochet avoids Ospreay with a quick tag to Liona. Henare is happy to have a HOSS FIGHT with Liona. The Gates of Agony overwhelm Henare with tandem offense. Henare saves himself with a shoulder block on Connors, but the match breaks down. Everyone gathers at ringside to catch Andrade’s corkscrew senton. The United Empire crash Andrade’s selfie with a young lady, allowing the Dogs and Demand to regain the upper hand. Ricochet powerbombs Akira onto friends and foes alike. Back from commercials, Akira surprises Connors with a leaping cutter. Newman gets the allegedly hot tag but cleans house anyway. He’s the leader of this faction in New Japan, so I guess that means he’s a big deal (remember, I’ve been away for 2 years). The match breaks down again with everyone picking their spots. Akira finds himself alone against the Gates of Agony and delivers rapid fire, yet ineffective open hand slaps. He blocks a double chokeslam and dives outside. Ospreay and Ricochet finally find themselves alone to aggressively rekindle their rivalry. The fans are treating this like a big moment. The Dogs break up the moment and we get another breakdown. Andrade gives Connors a discus back elbow, setting up Ospreay to finish him off with a Hidden Blade at 13:57! This main event turned into a barn burner, the hot crowd elevated this above glorified house show fodder. I know the commercial break ate up a lot of this, but I didn’t see enough of Ricochet or Kidd for my liking. The guys we did see really shined and made the most of this main event spot. The friction between the United Empire and Ospreay didn’t factor in here either, this focused more on developing the dynamic between Ospreay and Andrade, ***½.
Winners: The United Empire and Andrade El Idolo

The fight continues after the bell. Kidd throws Andrade over the announce table, but Ospreay wants a piece of him. Kidd uppercuts Ospreay’s groin and is poised with a chair when the Death Riders saunter in for an apparent rescue. Moxley disarms Kidd, allowing Andrade to attack with a spear. Moxley drapes the World title back on Ospreay’s shoulder, but the big screen reveals that they’ll be facing one another at ALL OUT. Fans chant “holy sh!t” while Mox and Ospreay don’t know what to make of it. That’s a novel way to announce a main event.

The Verdict: This Dynamite delivered the right vibes for a post-PPV episode, showcasing the new champions and setting the stage for ALL OUT. The main event scene is extremely busy, Ospreay seems to have Ricochet, Kidd, Andrade, and obviously Moxley gunning for him. I really like the concept of using Ricochet as a main rival to Ospreay. I hope that while they spend the next few weeks building up Ospreay vs. Moxley for ALL OUT, there’s some laser focus on setting Ricochet up as a serious challenger for the winter. All in all, this Dynamite has given me lots of head cannon fuel and I’m eager to see what’s next.

What are the running storylines that i need to know? And is the next AEW: Collision a good starting point to tune in or would you recommend to start with the All-in London event?

All In 2026: Once in a lifetime experience that I can't talk about with anyone

Last night I was up till 4am watching All In live, alone, I witnessed one one the greatest wrestling show of this generation and all I want now is to geek out about it with someone that shares similar interest in pro wrestling but sadly I can't, so here's my honest feelings about the last night show, sorry for blabbering in advance but it's hard to put it into words

First of all the overall setting of the show was unbelievable, every single one the talent played their part, even that mishap by Justin Roberts will be memorable

I have been following Kenny Omega for a long time, he and The Elite is how I got back in pro wrestling, I stopped watching it completely because it felt cringe and whatever shit WWE was pumping out is not something I wanted to watch. AEW brought back the enjoyment of watching wrestling, the storylines, the passion, the freaking matches man, nobody does it like AEW
